LOL! @ mayar, brynn, osama
Hey Tsepz_N81! So true. It seems some people in this forum thread doesn't even own the N81, and keep saying jibberish. These people aren't smart@sses, they're jack@sses!! LOL!
Thanks for the quick tip. Time to share mine. It's quite easy, and some of you probably know it by now.
To maximize the BASS in music player, do the ff:
1.Go to 'Equalizer' and set to 'Bass booster'
2.Go to 'Audio settings' and turn on 'Loudness'. Leave the 'Stereo widening' off
There you go! Enjoy the bass! Be sure to use Boss/Sennheiser/Bang & Olufsen/JBL/Infiniti headphones. With these settings, even JVC Gumy is good!
i have got nokia 8gb from o2 in the uk, after receiving only a few ringtone via bluetooth from a colleague, its saying not enough memory fir more music, when i go to utilities and then memory, it says mass memory, used 256 mb, free 7416 mb, so why cant i recieve more music, its saying to delete other applications, strange!!!! any advice guys
its too heavy, its not a comfortable in the pocket, i suggest you buy a 5310 ph, its better. N81 8gb is complicated. i do have it , im planning to swap it.
DO YOU HAVE THIS PHONE!?
It doesnt have the Exit option ONLY Hide!! Nokia made the Music Player run in the background so that it doesn't take long to load!
matt, open music player use navigator to stop the music and then exit...
the duck, if ur mobile is locked by ur network u can only use there ringtones otherwise u should be able...
in music player app press option and then exit is true,,why the hell would nokia make you download task manager to exit the app,,wat if you have not heard of task manager??? The reason why pressing and holding menu, then pressing C does not kill music player is because its hidden and the fone does not recognise the command as the music player sits in the background,,,so yes wen your in the music app itself select options--exit and it kills music app
You obviously dont have this phone, make sure you know what you are talking about.
Theres no Exit option, you have to kill the Music Player with a Taskmanager.
Next time try not be a smartass.
disable the music player??? as simple as that u go to music player options n then exit lol
Matt and Jon2
There is a way to turn off the Music Player. The GSMArena reviewrs just didnt download the app to do it. You must download Handy Taskman its a great Taskmanager displays how much RAM, Internal Memory and Mem Card Memory down the side respectively and it also displays what apps are running and it has the Option to either Close an app or Kill the app if its stubborn. All i do is Kill the Music Player and i have 45.1mb ram available.
you cant turn the music player... off... they were complaining about it in the review
Hey! This is a shout-out for N81 users. Um, I know this might sound s2pid, but can anyone tell me how to disable the music player? Thanks!
Agree with Jon2
And ye,its a beauty, the pics on Web sites just dont show how good this phone realy looks, something about it is very classy.
If the camera is what you are looking for, do not buy this handset. You will only be disappointed. I suggest buy N73, N95, N82 or K850i instead.
But as a music & gaming phone, this phone is unbeatable! IMHO it is the best-looking Nseries yet!
The phone is really good one but I got reservations for its camera. what is the optical zoom of it? Will 2mp is enough for all purpose? If anybody reply please.
hey i'm planning on buying the n81 in a few days and the only question on my mind is whether i'll be satisfied by the camera? i've been using the 6630 and i pretty much like it's camera and results.. so if i get the n81 will i be dissappointed by it's camera? compared to the 6630's?
