the N82 is the best nokia dives i have had. the option of it is really so so good. the only problem i have wi it is the battery life :( but at all the dives is perfect
reason why xenon is removed becoz xenon consumes lots of battery as compared to dual led.anyway yesterday i had a look at n86.the phone looks really bad and the slider is loose took some photo with it without flash and also the same photo with n82 then transferred the photo from n86 to my phone after seeing the photo n86 beat n82.
why did nokia ceased the production of this unit?
anyways, this unit is good! as in, the camera pics are great, it's like an iphone just that you it's not a touchscreen....
nokia is stopping or already stopped manufacturating N82 because the phone still so damn good that a lot of possible buyers for N85, N96, N79 etc, etc, are buying even more N82 and it`s cannibalizing the sell of these others nokia models. This phone is the real king, people just doesn`t know that.
iolo003, 26 Jun 2009N82 can still be purchase here in the Philippines. Price is incredibly lower.you are right. i bought mine for only P17,190. but i did found another store selling it for only 16,890 something.

a new problem has arose to my phone.now every time i connect my phone to my pc through the pc suite mode the phone restarts.and een if it connects it dis connects after sometime.god knows what has happened.quality of nokia handsets has gone down a phone cannot even work properly for one year

subho, 25 Jun 2009days of n82 are over nokia has stopped its production and only few lucky one can get ityes, if u can get your hand on an old stock or you have to buy it 2nd hand. I have bought three 2nd hand's - one for me and one for each of my nephews. No problems at all. But you're right - nothing beats unboxing a brand new device. The bright side is that people who could never afford buying a new device such as N82, can get it very cheap 2nd hand and still working well for at least a couple of years! Don't forget to update it to the latest firmware though - the battery lasts a lot longer with fw 31. Regards!
