Your are arguing screen size by .2"-.4", true N95 slightly bigger (slightly). But will be same view quality.
Ok the N95 makes it easier or more convienient for media. But when it's all said and done they both do the same.
You are arguing pennies here.
Whenever u want to buy a phone don’t ask people make ur choice. Ask ur self wat u want & can sacrifice and match those to get ur perfect phone. U may choose style over feature or music over camera or vice-versa. I’m not going to use ur phone or anyobody else. Its ur phone ur need so decide urself or otherwise u might be end up with a phone u don’t like at all. U can & should ask people about the features but not to make ur choice.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Its simple, wat u want in a phone. There is no perfect phone, so u have to sacrifice something. If ur a nokia lover then here goes -
# Music matters most but camera doesn't as u have ur slr - N81
# Mostly need large screen also a decent camera & good enough music - N95-2 8GB
# Want good camera & good enough music but with an average size screen which is within reasonable price then - N82
Honestly, wat u want & can sacrifice is the choosing metter 4 u or anybody.
flamer (Tkbs) asks, "difference between the silver and black"?
There are some minor differences. The windows for the light sensor and the secondary camera are in circles in the black version, while they are in squares in the silver one. These differences don't affect phone functions, though.
u mean that black and sliver have the quality and the price is the same ?
flamer, 14 Jul 2008difference between silver and black ?there's no difference between silver & black... only colour. all r the same...

and for information ,for a good photo a good lens is more important than mega pixels
A 5 mega pixel NIKON SLR will beat any 8 megapixel mobile to dust any time.
FOR NOW no mobile phone picture will be accepted by any good newspaper even if it is 8 megapixel...i m from the biggest newspaper

Isn't that the camera spec of the N95 8GB? You just mocked the very same phone that you're so obsessed with!
P.S.: Sorry for the doubled post, forgot to put my name in.
Guys check out picks taken from N73. http://www.flickr.com/xnadeems/ And please tell me can any Camera phone do this..???

Albeit him doing it at ... morere-releasing another n95-ish device like n96 will not cause too much commotion nowadays! lol! there are so many n95 wannabes already like n82. 16gb and dvb-h will do n96 no good at all. they (nokia) should pull it (n96) out when they have still time before it becomes a big miss. lol! we're talking 8 megapixel now! 5 megapixel is a now a thing of the past! lmao!

it's a call out to anyone: if you want the best and you can afford it, get the n95 8gb! you'll be throwing a lot of your other gadgets when you have n95 8gb!
Let him (Anonymous) rant [about the N82] and rave [about the N95 8GB]. Albeit him doing it at the wrong forum, he's just killing time until the N96 16GB comes out so he could jump ship. Until then, let us focus on entertaining questions from fellow N82 users.

N82 is like N95 with a design alteration you can handle plus xenon.
In my opinion, N82 is the best value for your money.

And for your information, the N95 was mass marketed bigger than the N82. That i... moreall the n95 series (n95, n95 8gb, n95 nam, n95 8gb nam) with their initial price starting at 570 euros are definitely not mass-market solutions! but why has n95 had a number of different variants? why did it become a best seller despite its hefty price?
n82 with it's price started at 460 euros, (read: n73 has started selling at 460 euros as well), is the one which is meant to be mass marketed.
n82 is positioned as a "camera phone", read: flagship camera phone! n95/8gb is positioned as an "all-in-one device". now youre saying the n95 is an ugly fat brick. so the n82 now is the beautiful swan huh? n95 is a do-it-all solution: external media keys suggest music, media, playback & game controls; large 2.6" or 2.8" screen indicates it's most suited for watching videos/movies; dual-slide form factor is first of a kind in a mobile phone, making in league with the flagship phones of nokia...whereas n82 is just a typical candybar phone with nothing in its belt but xenon flash indicating it as a mere "camera phone". that's the main purpose of n82, camera! can you have the same enjoyment watching movies in n82's small screen as in n95/8gb's large screen? can you have that same gaming experience in portrait mode in n82 as in n95's landscape mode with media buttons that double as gaming buttons? can you browse the web and fast forward/rewind a track simultaneously in n82 as you do in n95? and for the record, n82 is not good-looking at all, you say so because of the features inside it. n95/8gb in whatever color trim is a true lovely phone! i'm not saying n82 is not good, but it's not the best. n95/8gb is the best no matter what angle you look at it. you always flaunt xenon, xenon, xenon! yes, n82 takes better pics with xenon! inclusion of good camera (n82 n95/8gb) & xenon flash (n82 6220c) in a phone suggests it's meant for camera. presence of external music buttons (n91/8gb n81/8gb n95/8gb) indicate it's a music phone. having large 2.6/2.8" screen (n92 n95/8gb n96) means it's the best for video playback/watching movies! plus backup of a revolutionary form factor - dual slide design (n95/8gb) haven't you realized that yet? n95/8gb is the most equipped of all covering all multimedia departments - the true all-in-one device!
