Does N82 have a pencil key, if not how do you select wide text range..
is this normal i've got 2500+ msgs in inbox and sent and the phone slows fown when opening the inbox and sent is it normal?
U heard that?! I'm using the titanium N82 V20. Never had any prob. Pls don't believe those people who say bad things about this phone without even using it!
There are two good full screen caller application available. U can find one in dotsis ;)
Mine shows name & number whether saved with / without country code. So there must be a double saved number.
maybe you must have stored the same phone number with two different names. In that case ur phone wont show the contact name whn u recieve msgs or calls. This may be the case with you.
Believe me guys.....this guy "N82 s*u*c*k*s" is the psycho coke can man who used to bash n82 for no reason and used to post the same comment 10times.
Guess gsmarena moderators banned his previous ip which made him to post from other ip. Lol at him.
Anyways this is a great site. Gsmarena rocks and so does n82.
Hi guys. Any way to get a full screen caller? Why does it does not display the name of the sender when we receive an sms??
i hear it has many problems as far as software is concerned.is that true?
cool phone, a good phone at an affordable price. The keys so handy(after 4-5 days)
1. Excellent gaming experience with n-gage.
2. Excellent sound (only in headset) with the 3.5 mm out.
3.computer like web browsing.
4. Since gps receiver is present we can see our own location using other maps (like google maps) also.
5. Overall its just N95 8 GB but with a xenon flash
1. In loudspeaker the volume is much more lesser than n73 mus. e.
2.sometimes the phone restarts while we insert the headset while playing music.
3. The above problems are due to the lack of updation of firmware.
Overall good phone than w910i, k850i, lg viewty, probably n95 (not 8 gb editio)
It is similar to n95 8gb
I sincerely feel that this is one of the best phones in the market today. I have one and I am enjoying the features. In the next few days I will upgrade the firmware to get the benefit of internet flash videos.
I am heavily into impromptu photographs and camcording. The other day friends took me to a show at short notice. The band played some inspiring tunes and there was wonderful dancing. I had my N82 handy so I indulged in some impromptu photography and camcording. The results were OK but not fantastic because of the lack of optical zoom. I found I was losing too much detail when I applied digital zoom especially while camcording.
It would be great if Nokia could implement optical zoom in a future N series monoblock phone. Perhaps a N82i. The crux is would it mean a massive increase in weight ?? If so it would be pointless because it would not sell well. The N93 proved that size and weight does matter.
Another point is the screen itself. I do not think it is necessary to have a VGA res screen on 2.4 inches.
Nevertheless I feel it would be great to bring the benefits of the N82 to a bigger screen. The features of the N82 in concert with a 2.8 inch VGA screen and optical zoom would make imaging a pleasurable experience. I am certain that many would buy this type of mobile as long as the size and weight were not excessive.
Anyway bravo to the N82 for setting the standard for all-in-one phones!
oh my god ! i'll keep wondering that i have it ! this is the best ! hahaha !
wish me luck so my *** will bougt it for me . yeah x)
I bought the N82 black 4 days ago, I think this is the best camera phone on the market! it's a fantastic phone with so many features in such a small and nice device^^ I totally recommend this phone to anyone who is hesitating to buy one;
it has an excellent camera, a very good musicplayer and the keypad is really easy to use(it takes a bit time to get used to, but it's not fiddly to use, just like other people imply...they probably never used this phone)
upgrade ur n82's firmware so dat u can watch movies online at davidmovie.com.. Enjoy! I stil love ds fone. Lol parang NBA! LoL
Where the hell is the Black N82 Nokia? You're losing sales big time...
@ andy burgin,,
I think that buying the n96 will get you down because of battery life and am selling my n958gb for £200 to a close friend. The n82 does not cut into my hand like n95 does when texting and its smaller and so much less agro and loving the keys too like post below..I think my next fone will be xperia 1 but their is still a while to go and technology changes daily..I am also considering b/b flip if cam/video is good and samsung and lg are upping specs all the time and samsung screens running symbian sounds a treat but the g810 is nowhere to be seen so its still nokia n82 at moment
You know, you're kinda ***.. the keypads, at first is not that good.. But when you're used to it, maybe for about 2-3 days, you will not find a hard time in the keypads. and in the black case, its elegant dude! it looks so classy, eventhogh i have the tatanium one. Its youre choice. You will regret it when you bring it back to orange. N82! the best fone in the market! so fast, camera is excellent, performance wise, the best! N95 8GB is a trash! its so slow, bulky shi*! The camera, eeewwww, its like VGA camera that has a flash light! whahaahah! its funny, but its true! N95, pretending to be the best fone like N82! Rock on!
i-mobile 902 uses a CCD sensor and is undoubtedly the best cameraphone on the market.Overall the n82 offers more but on camera alone it comes nowhere near the 902.
Just recieved the Black N82 on Orange an really disappointed with the body of the phone its not very good indeed an is just cheap plastic,as i thought this would match my previous mobile the N73,the button layout is a big mistake by Nokia as you can easily press the wrong buttons regularly,o.k the camera might be good but now having the N96 on its way soon i will be returning this mobile back to Orange a keep my Black 8gb N95 instead having seen the N82
