hey folks, how is gaming on dis fone. Coz i like playin games. Does keys favour or they r tuff.
OLD Nokia Phones were phenominal- infact they were truely leaders..
even today nokia is the best product for basic mobile...
what is your opinion on new s60....
"But again I have never faced any problem of hanging in my K750i."
You're quite lucky because I have a several friends who also have the K750i who ended up with numerous issues particularly software and hardware problems and that's in less than a year of use. That's why I told myself never will I buy SE phones. I have seen too many old Nokia phones that are muddy, cracked, chipped, etc and yet they're still fully functional up to now.
i upgraded to the n82 and had a n91 before, the keys are more raised on the n91, and it did take some time to get used to texting
overall great phone, great pics and music, the best so far on the n seris i think xx
Glad that u have shared your views.
But again I have never faced any problem of hanging in my K750i, whereas it is a very common feature of nokia N series(all on symbian OS).
Is there any other benefit of having an operation system- just enlighten- I am waiting for ur reply.
Another important Point- Prices of N82 have dipped sharply in delhi. Do you feel that it is going to slide down any more?
The N-series has redeemed itself with this phone in my eyes.Im loving it.
To Good Karma,
I have the K850 and N95 8GB. The K850 slows down dramatically when the music player is activated. Sms becomes very laggy. However, i don't notice any lagginess or slow response from the N95 8GB when the music player turned on. It's so smooth and fast. So, there is indeed a huge difference between OS and non-OS powered mobiles.
I know many say that this looks and is a replica of the N91, but can anyone who has used both the N91 and this N82 please tell me if the keys are similiar?
Do they feel exactly the same?
Is the N82 keys harder to push? Easier?
Any comments will help, Thank you all
lots of features but without touch screen it is incomplete why burn so much money on this chock bar u cant use half of its features properly
ONE IMPORTANT AND DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND QUESTION I am unable to understand---
Why do we need a OS- when phone without a OS(e.g.- SE K850i, K750i...) are so fast(lightning fast) and have no problem of HANGING during change or multiple operations.
In other words - what is the need of OS- when practically all the operations can be carried out with an OS.,,,,,,
been confused between n95 8gb and n82, finally got the n82 and no regrets!!! i believe the n82 has more to offer in a solid design
@ broken N82
Very sorry to hear about your loss. But you should know, there are several structural benefits to having relatively "flexible" screen protection. In many instances, it actually saves people from breaking/cracking/shattering their screens, because it absorbs impact much better than a stiff plastic. Furthermore, you should know better than to put your beautiful and expensive phone in a pocket with ANY other objects. That's just not good form. Nonetheless, its a sad day for all when a N82 meets its demise, but hopefully you'll have better luck in the future.
Just buy one on eBay, it has to be 99% Transparency:
This is a very good phone in term of the good camera and other functions. However, some people may not know how weak the clear screen cover and its LCD. Who has the phone, could try to push the screen. You will notice that the cover would stick to the weak lcd easily. As a result, if you put your phone in your pocket with other hard object, it is easy to scratch the screen. And the LCD will brake easily. I don't understand why NOKIA build such a good phone with such a weak screen protector. Even Motorola L6 has better ( Harder) screen protector.
Why do Nokia have to make so ugly phones!? Look at SonyEricsson, that's design. Or also Motorola.
Flipsilent, a great application:
