In Philippines, the retail price of this phone in Nokia Store is 28,000 pesos!! wow!! i'll go for this!
i dont know but i feel pretty right about my thought
i used to tell people why do u care about megapixels on ur phone..wen u can just buy a camera...i used to say why do u care about internet wen u can just use your computers...i used to say why do u want an mp3 player on ur phone wen u could buy 1 for like30 dollars
well i was wrong..because deez days...i think nobody wants to carry around a digital camera with them....just like people dont want to carry around an extra pda with them thats not on their phone... i mean how often do we c that...? its the same thing with the camera...so why do people say "why do u care about this on a phone or that on a phone" well we pretty much care because we want an all in one device
Hi can not believe what i have just seen on www.mobile-review.com Motorola is joining the 5 megapixel camera gang now with the Z12 with a kodak camera an flash on it ,it doesn"t show you the full photo but just the camera so i am sure gsmarena will be having the pictures soon of the Z12 so this might bring the price down of the N82 if its cheaper to get
correction: i meant features as n82 not e51. e51 is slim type phone but no video calling. tnx
why nokia can't make slim phone as 12mm or less in thickness with features as E51?
As an owner of both the N95 8GB and just recently the N82, I must agree that the N95 offers more phone than the N82 (namely bigger screen, obviously much more memory, etc.) BUT keep this in mind - GSMarena's holiday guide put the N82 as well as the N95 at the top of the "shutterbug" list, while obviously the N95 8GB won the all-around. The N82 takes FAR better pictures at night when compared to the N95 (do NOT argue this, and for many younger people, who are out alot at night, and who really use the camera alot, this is EVERYTHING! Furthermore, none of my friends/colleagues were impressed by the loose slide mechanism that makes clicking noises while still closed on the N95 8GB. The N82 is SO SOLID. Its never going to feel cheap, and you will not find any loose or moving parts...
I'm sorry, both phones are amazing and very similar in many ways, while each is better and worse in others. But hating on the N92 doesn't make the N95 better. They're very close relatives you crazies.
@Crouchy,
Hi i am from Bangladesh too.I bought this phone from NOKIA 12 days ago,its working like a bullet man.For a symbian phone its very fast.Dont hasitate just go and buy this phone.
I bought my one 12 days ago at the same price which you mention.Ofcourse its a very goo buy.
Take care mate.
n95 8gig is better than this phone. Attractive look. this one looks like a tin can. =) Yet, it's camera is excellent.
Hi,
The N82 is probably going to be my next phone. I have a Nokia N91 now, which has quite a few problems which make it almost unusable (except simple tasks like calling and texting). In my country (Bangladesh) the Nokia N82 costs 39,000 Taka, which is approximately US $570 from the authorised Nokia reseller. Is it a good buy? Please let me know. Thanks
Not a fan of any mobile company but this mobilephone really looks cheap. In real and in photos. Better buy n95 8gig or wait for the black edition n82. N95 8gig is miles away in looks department.
n-95 8gb is still better , this only have a little flash, and poor keypad and battery
n-95 beat this trash, in friendly user's keypad and more battery power, n-95 8gb is improved this one will be improved in its black edition
Just been ringing up about upgrading to the N82 but the deals you have to pay for this handset are very expensive indeed,so your paying alot for a flash on a mobile, the 18 month contracts were £35 an you got it free but any thing below that you had to pay alot for the N82 i will wait a couple of months until people who try the N82 for 14 days an return it then you can get some cheaper deals, its o.k having a good camera on a mobile but you really have to pay to much now days i will stick with my N95-3 instead
hi all,
i am very serious to saught for help before purchasing n82. following are my concerns,
1)i have come accross many n series users complaining of phone hanging or crashing. one of the employees in my organization had a phone crash on n91. he was greeted with cold shoulders from nokia support centres accross delhi. and he did whatever he could think to get some reverts from global nokia mail ids- but in vail. it took 3- months for him to get the replacement.
2)battery life is very short compared to se k750i- it lasts one day for me.
3) usb charging is not there- we need to carry bulky charger instead of data cord.
4)key board design gives it a little cheaper looks- though back side is really impressive.
5)movie clip quality- can anyone upload or fowrad a clip for analysis.
thanks a lot guys,
gsm arena is really a wonderful platform for analysis of mobiles....
This is the Best candy bar phone ever made by any company!
All in one, at last with the xenon flash.
I would like nokia to make a full touchscreen phone with no keypad, just qwerty touchscreen keypad (with the same features). I think the the keypad will disappear completely in a couple of years!
Anyway, this phone is amazing, the price is not bad 570USD, great job Nokia!
Great Phone. Features packed.. The key pad is a liitle wierd , but the has to negative effects (excpet for big fingers) but all in all.. this is the best choice!

To all and those who are not a fan of Nokia.
Get out!!! you know you are not welcome! you know you are not making any substantial effort in making a point. Its just sensless airing out your thoughts we know no one listens. I have this phone for about a month and its working like a dream. I have shown this to users here in the UK and they are amazed on how this performs. I am living in Sweden the home of Ericsson and sorry to say "try again next year" you are repeating things like a broken record. Retailers in the UK, like O2, Orange and Voda have not seen this yet and are still waiting for it to arrive. When I show it to them and they are actually jealous that the rest of the world has it and the UK hasn't...well not widely available with operators. They're amazed how light and how intuitive. I even managed to convert several SE fanboy/girls to Nokia because of how stable the phone is. SE has actually gone down in market share aswell as a marketable device. So, if still believe SE is doing well. Just look at the world market share before you comment "SE is the best fone" my ass it is!!!!
I've said my 2 cents!
