will reply your 3 questions:
1- its a candy bar.
2- it has a multi-finger touch based touch screen.
Is the Nokia N82 much bigger then the SE K850i, for what I read it is slightly and not really much of a difference.
can any1 please tell me if this phone is availible in any other colour??
dont underestimate n91, i love this phone cause it looks like my old n91, but i hate using it
to the last comment! Yawn! Heard it all before. Change the damn record! Sounds scratched.
the keypad sucks looks like n-91, not use friendly, must look to the keys when typing, good feature but poor battery, no sense at all
To All, all who judge on cosmetic looks!!! Do you judge a book by its cover? Do you drink wine because the label looks good? If the answer is no to both don't judge the looks without seeing it in real or using it for real. What matters is what is inside. Remember beauty is only skin deep!
I would personally pay for features than just for looks, I'm so sorry to say but features will always overcome looks in my eyes.
Micro SD cards can only go to 2gb anything above is "High Capacity". So in essence SDHC come currently in these flavours, 4bg, 6gb and 8 gb. I personally have 8gb in my N82. This fone can accept upto 32gb when its available. I so can't wait!
expensive phone, but the design is not worth it, it looks crappy, and lousy keypad, nokia can do better design than this
I can get it for $700AUD with $25AUD posted here in Australia. The cheapest I've found so far.
This is selling @ S$968 in Singpore without contract. But seem to be over-shadowed by N95 BGB.
wow 750AUD... I got mine 918.71AUD equivalent in Sweden. Good price! Mind you it was about a month ago.
Goodluck with your purchase Craigy! How much can you get in your region???
Thanks, I think i didn't read right b4 hehe, thanks for correcting me ;-)
This fone can take upto 32gig when available. I have a 8gig in mine and there is no system lag
To user: Rakib,
Thank you very much on your information regarding my previous question. I like Nokia over Sony Ericsson for quiet a few things. Your information has helped me decide to go and buy the Nokia N82, even though it's going to cost me AUD$750 to get one, I'm sure it's worth it. It's a very good looking phone and if it has the features of the N95 then I'm for sure going to buy this mobile.
Just one more question, Did you say that I can buy an 8gb memory card for it and it will work and not slow the process for the phone down too?
WARNING about: www.exoticphones.com is a scam.
Where ever you buy any phone, do not buy it from www.exoticphone.com . These guys are a scam. I bought a phone from them one time, and they said that it was in stock only to send me a completely different phone in order to buy time to get the phone that i wanted in stock. So i called them and told them that they sent me the wrong phone. They said to send the phone back on my dime, and they will send me the phone that i ordered once they recevie the phone. No apology whatsoever. So I requested that i wanted my refund back. I did not receive my refund of $480 until six (6) months later and that was i had to go thru american express. Of course exoticphone folks told american express that they never received the item from me. Okay, so i faxed amx the ups delivery notice to prove that exoticphone merchant signed for the receiving item. AMX made me wait an additional 4 weeks on top of 6 months in order to let exoticphone folks make their reply, and they never replied to amx so amx did a charge back to their company.
SAVE yourself grief and buy any phone elesewhere. OR if you want to buy from them, then remember to keep all the paper work at least 6 months just in case they try to scam you.
I prefer to remain anon. This is due to the fact that in my line of business I am know within the VOIP telephony market. I actualy do some consulting for phone networks such as Telefonica, Vodafone, DT and T-mobile to name a few.
I am CCNP certified and and test GSM and 3G network capabilities hence I have access to a mjority of testing equipment. This phone is a technilogical feet in my eyes. This is a true All-in-one and I can honestly say large companies like Cisco have always opted for Nokia for its business capabilities.
To those who are more interested in a camera on a phone. I want to ask a question.
If you have a choice for a 5mpx cameraphone or a D/SLR... Which would you choose to take a picture???
What I want point out is that, as a pro photographer, small form cameras are for point and shoot. If you are interested in photography invest in something like a canon 350D as an amateur level. I have a Canon 5D with a few L- lenses and I only use this phone for pictures when its not possible to have a big SLR. quality is adequate enough and I'm sorry I would choose a Nokia N-Series over and other brand. But thats me!
