Anonywawachi, 15 Jan 2009Hi every1! Does anyone knows what was better is it seC905 or n85.. Just a little cofused what ... morebuddy.. go the c905! i work in a phone store and just from experience the c905 is such a better handset to get. not just camera wise but we never get any back for repair but already n85 is starting to come back into store with problems.. my advise c905 all the way...
Anonymous, 15 Jan 2009well, i think it's pretty obvious that your phone has a defective battery or something cause w... morei just brought my n85 to nokia care. They told me to wait for 1 week for them to repair it. I asked them to inspect my battery first, and they did not see any wrong with it. It might be electrical prob according to technician, they have to bring my phone to their head office in makati. I will miss it for 1 week
Anonymous, 14 Jan 2009N79 is obviously better then n85
because:
the display of n85 is amoled..it easily gets destr... moreOLED is far superior to standard LCD - especially seeing that the n79s screen is smaller.
OLED screen do have a shorter life- (if your WHOLE screen is running the colour blue for 2 years non stop, they will wear out). The average life of a mobile is far shorter than this.
zenny, 11 Jan 2009ah skuse me kind ser i was wondering to buy phone iam chossing n85 and 5800 what is more bette... morei love my n85 forever!!! since it's china made,it doesn't matter for me. don't look down on the chinese coz they dominate the whole world on their great products!!!
Incognito, 16 Jan 2009I am still quite worried as to if I should get this phone or not, I mean I have been a Nokia f... moreif u like n95 8gb then you will love n85, as far as where its made it dont matter there all nokia its where its made for determines where its built, some just might have different sofware version. i have n85-3 for u.s. 3g made in china comes with the latest software (11.047.201.3) no problems whatsoever i think the bad reviews are coming from n85-1 which have an older software. this phone is everything the n95 should have been only thing i noticed that the speakers output sucks in comparison to n95.
I am still quite worried as to if I should get this phone or not, I mean I have been a Nokia fan, but u don't expect anything to be wrong with the phone when you are paying close to $600 for it. When I read reviews, I don't really feel encouraged because theres always people having some or the other problem, no doubt there are also people saying good things about the phone too. I guess with the "Made in China" brand it all comes down to luck.
I am pretty cynical about shelling out 600 hard earned bucks, when u dont know wats it gonna be like....
Any opinion about buying the phone will be highly appreciated. Is it really worth taking the risk?
Thanks in anticipation

I got 5800 yesterday. I charged both my n85 and 5800 last night. Its 20:30 here in the Phils, my 5800 has still full bars while my n85 is now down, considering that i had been playing with my 5800 the whole day! I will send my n85 to nokia care tomorrow now that i have my 5800. I hope that nokia can fix it as i still want to keep this phone

Hi...in some of the older user reviews that I have read, I find people complaining about the battery life, which kind of contradicts one of the purposes served by the OLED display, and I understand that battery life is user dependent, but shall be glad if someone could give their opinion on battery life.
In the recent posts theres a consensus about firmware upgrade, any news of Nokia heeding to this?
Thanks in anticipation
Hi every1! Does anyone knows what was better is it seC905 or n85.. Just a little cofused what should i gonna buy.. And is n85 has a photo and video editing? Hoping for your reply.. Thank you! Salamat!.
Anonymous, 11 Jan 2009why the cam. doest have xenon flash Its true that xenon flash is far better than led flash but, do you know that xenon flash is not easy to maintain?
If you're expecting a phone with xenon flash, it means you won't mind the size of the phone because it needs an electrolytic capacitor for operation, and this capacitor needs to be charged in order to produce the bright light.
Also Xenon flashes are very fragile, you'll need to prevent your phone from falling to the ground, because they get spoilt easily.
For the N82 users please keep your phone very well and when you're holding it please hold it firmly.
This is a great phone. But i'm still expecting the Nokia N97. It has a better battery life.
N85 is a good phone.
If you love it go for it but i don't like the size of its internal memory, its too poor for my liking.
I guess i'll give it up since i'm cool with My New N96 for now
