ive been reading ur reviews abt the phone. i was so eager to buy it bt ur saying that its camera n sound isnt that good.. so wat should do??
go for it or another 1?? im particularly searching for a mobile with a great sound n a good camera as well n frm which i can have some games.. plz help

N85 sound quality is OH MY GOD lousy.
Damn. It's soft and it's noisy with the mp3 tones. Using the same tones on N95, it sound much more clearer and better. Louder too. I don't know why N85 sound quality is such a big disappointment.
Camera, 5mp but is much lousier than N95. I mean, the image is totally gone case. Are they sure it's 5mp??!!
Even N73's front VGA camera is better than N85's front VGA camera.
Am gonna switch phone. Perhaps N79? Suggestions anyone?

Up to date, the best N-series phones are N95 8GB and the TIPA god phone N82. N95 8GB provides more features than the N85 and has RAM in it too with a 3D graphic card accelerator, perfect for N-gage games. I got a N82, trust me, I know. Hope this helps.
P/S Both N95 8GB and N82 are cheaper than the N85 with greater performance.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Both Virgin Mobile and Vodafone have it, but only on a contract. Virgin has it for $45 a month ($0 for the phone, so your just paying credit) and Vodafone has it for $69 and $79 on their Internet Cap (again, $0 for the phone).

Samsung also had g810 as their contender! Both of them much2 better than laggy buggy dumbphone c905, 8mp? Take innov8! Samsung LED n nokia n95 LED just little bit weaker than c905 xenon! Day photos? Nokia n samsung beats Sony cybershot easily!!

I love this phone. I have the US version. I use it to listen to music, phone/sms, internet, camera, gps, everything! It's one of the best convergence devices ever made. The OLED screen is the best part. I use it HEAVILY all day long and don't need to recharge. And if I can keep myself from playing with it all day it will last 2 days. I like to take it on bike rides, use sportstracker/viNe to track my route and tag photos to the maps. Then I upload the photos using Shozu. It is very compact too.
The only downsides I have noticed are that the battery cover creeks a little bit and it doesn't have a full keyboard so long emails or such are kind of a pain.
Love it. I would get an N97 when it finally comes out, but it doesn't have the OLED screen so I still would choose the N85 over any other phone.
