This is the N96's younger brother. He is more energetic with battery life but cant store as much data as his big brither. lol
n85 makes me want to dispatch my n82. n85 i think is the perfect phone for me. it's a true all-in-one device, camera, music, gaming.. addedd so many new technologies and improvements in the hardware and software.. n85 is like n81 + n82 + n95...
this phone looks like n95+n81+n78+n96
wow! nokia is NOT making any sense with these redundancy of their designs.
sony ericsson has it too. but only on the keypad layout.
grow up nokia.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Dani you make me laugh!!! your comment on N82 forum says "BUT I STILL WANTING A NOKIA", after announcing these two new models you are now wanting a nokia, what if there are new SE phones announced would that change your crowded head? LOL
You said you don't like Symbian there is no high end nokia that are running in S40 then you wanting a nokia? then you should be liking the symbian otherwise, BE CONSISTENT of what you are saying!!!!
Dani, 28 Aug 2008So what are the N95 owners going to do then?who are you to complain dani? go to sony ericsson and ask them to bring out a handset with this many features. you should have done it a long time ago, they just give you basic basic basic handsets that dont do anything yet ask for premium prices.
Anonymous, 27 Aug 2008whoever goes around saying theirs nothing new between the nokia n95 and the n85 should go get ... moreSo what are the N95 owners going to do then?

Have you ever played with warcraft? What is your heat dissipation (CPU+RAM+MB) during a battle? Few hundred watts as opposed to using only excel?...
kujo, 27 Aug 2008i'll be surprised if nokia can release a 10mp,32gb fone...that'll be a blast.....Would you buy such an extreemly boosted device for its pricetag? (e.g. do You already own a Vertu?) ;-)
This is the coolest all-in-one device right now out there for its pricetag!
Consider these: it's a phone, a compact camera, a computer, a radio, a navigator and map, a photo-album, an MP3 jukebox, a web server(!) and browser, a game-pad with TV-out and the list goes on.
It's silent, small, low energy consumer and it's always on!
Together with an exteral bluetooth keyboard it's a full replacement for home PC for my elderly parents!!
I won't spend a dime on renewing depreciated desktop PC for parents any longer now that this device came to light. :-))
