I have been using this phone for 6 months now, and its falling apart, the plastic cracked in half at the bottom after the second month, the navi plastic is chipped around the corner after moderate use, phone looks so ugly now, the only good point is good reception and good battery, but I would not recommend this phone.

When I receive a sms I can see ... moreYo karin i encountered this problem initially but then i found out u can only choose either phone contacts OR sim contacts to be displayed in the settings, not both. Reason is the N85 wil hv a problem recognizing 2 same contacts in the contact list and dunno which 1 to display thus the result is NO caller contact.

I see that everyone have a problem with the contacts.
When I receive a sms I can see the name but when somebody call me I can only see the number.
So I don't know who is calling me.
Can someone help me please?

hey buddy .. i agree tht n85 has more functions bu still i suggest u to according to my experience dont go fr a slide phone n 1 more thing n85 is way expencive than n85 .. i suggest to go fr n79 coz all important functions are included.. rest is up 2 u

Been using n85 for bout a mth so far so good,much more faster den n95 8gb and the battery is lasting too..except its glossy surface is a scratch magnet n smudges with fingerprints..for a midrange phone i think is value for its money..

Drow, 07 Apr 2009Should i buy N85 or N79?? PLzzz anyone help me!! Going to buy a phone in short time..get the n85. you will get a 2.6 inch OLED display that beats no other screens. other specs are much the same. with n85 you get dedicated music keys which is better. hope this will help you.

Anonymous, 05 Apr 2009Hi..guys do this phone support flash themes (themes with moving wallpaper)..looked on the net ... moreFor animated themes.. you'll hav to dwload a animator software from ownskins.com website and then if u dwload any animated theme.. it'll work on ur phone.. for themes u can visit mobile9.com and select ur device.. tc then.. n-joy.. it's a awesome phone u got.. n85 rocks..

I bought my N85 last week. For me its all in one phone cause u can do almost what can other phone do. The only thing that i dont like is the build material of its front keypad, its looks very cheap!
