when u hack ur phone u can install any unsigned aplctns. example u can download ngage games for free.

be cautious to buy this N85 in the American version. All of them have hardware issues with the earpiece. Depending on how much you talk on yer phone, the earpiece will go bad, as little as in 2 weeks. Most Nokia phones are built in China in mass production resulting in poor quality parts and performance. Check yer IMEI#. If the 7th & 8th digits are "02" then your phone was made in China, and your earpiece may go bad. Nokia will replace your phone if its still under warranty, but the replacement phone will still incur the same problem eventually. I am going on my 3rd N85. The 1st 2 were less than a month old when the earpiece malfunctioned.

change software installation to ALL and online certificate check to OFF
If sis apps says certificate ivalid,,expired etc you have to chandge the date backwards to 2008 or 2007 until the app installs

I use mine a lot and get 2 days with fairly heavy use ..

n85 is great battery life if used for calls,txts
when you go online it milks the battery a lot
i get 2days with internet for me

sorry about your mobile phone. the battery life i have with my mobile is 2-3days and sometimes can go to 4 days.i'am a sales executive. so i am using most in calling and texting.

I have no probs with battery.N i havent even charged it fully.Even then it lasts atleast for 30 hrs.

my n85's battery is doing great so far. Hopefully Nokia will release new firmware to improved the camera output. the photo quality is not good as N95 8GB & N82. That's my only complain but overall, IT ROCKS!

my girlfriend has this unit, and in less than two days, the battery always runs empty even if she's not using it frequently...take note that in their workplace, they don't have network signal so her phone is always useless for 9 straight hours, so how come it is easily drained in just more than 1 day....hmmm...what seems to be the problem???

In the review, it says the battery lasts 2 days.
But i cannot achieve that mileage. I dont know why.

husi, 28 Mar 2009yupp.. hey but m still confused between this one and samsung omnia i900 and Samsung G810.. and... moretouchscreen doesnt work gr8 on omnia like htc or iphone....although omnia looks ...gr8> if u want a multimidea phn go for n85 cause it does everything except touch ....or if u like touchscreen i suggest u to get iphone n in my opinion u cant keep trust on samsung....... n company is planning to introduce new samsung omnia hd< so stay away from omnia n get n85 u will have a good time..personaly i ve used omnia for 2weeks n changed it to iphone 3g ...omnia has faulty touchscreen not in all but in mine how can u trust on samsung? take care....... buy n85 that u can use for a while easily
