i need your help
do you know how to delete 'themes'
which i've installed in memory c... moreThis has been a common problem since long back about invisible themes...First go to file manager,,i cannot tell you where it is on your fone cause i have totally re-organised my n85 folders and icons to my liking..Open file manager and look at fone or memory card whichever you stored your themes too..The themes could be under installed files or downloads or even another folder..Check you definetly want to delete it and delete or remove whichever is the option..
If that fails you can install free y-browser at drjukka.com or google search for it as the latest y-browser has just come out and will be bang up to date..Search c-drive first and get to know how the browser and options work before deleting anything..ITS not a browser like a web browser but a search or your entire n85 so be carefull not to just delete or change or alter anything what you do not understand..
@ cinnamon IF you have done a recent back up to memory card when all your equalisers are their it will in my case store the settings, HOWEVER back up regularly and remove memory card if your doing a software update or a hard or soft reset cause you will lose the lot??????
To person on crusade,,their are lots of unsatisfied nokia,,s/e ,,samsung,,lg customers etc but can i point you to n958gb forums at nokia .com...You can read posts but to put a post up you have to join,,i think you will see hundreds of problems,,some solved some not as yet but you have got to go to nokia itself Not the service centers..As you start reading all the opinions it becomes apparent that nokia sublets these centers and they dont seem to report things to nokia itself or be that bothered about customers..This is not true for all nokia service centres but you need to get some help and back up from nokia.com forums,,its open house and nokia do not censor the site..Remember to report your experiance to nokia direct NOT the service center..If you read this i will be back in 5 minutes with a direct link to nokia site forums for the likes of you and your problem..good luck..

i am content with my n85 but have a question, if i do a back up to memory card will it save my equaliser settings?

I absolutely love my new Nokia N85.....Only one small little disappointment..Where are the little icon pics when u send a text...(HAPPY,SAD...etc.....I can't even find any smiley faces??????? Oh the camera is very good in daylight...Ok at night...But you just can't beat a Sony Ericcson for the camera.......

I'm using this phone for few month and I'm quite satisfied. It has wery wery good specs and generaly it satisfays me. There is always something to improve like camera quality which is not giving best of 5 mp, maybe little bit faster ARM and small improvment with keybord. It feels like a cheap plastic,
But regardles of all this and some other catchs, after using numerous of pda,mobile phones and smartphones, I am wery satisfyed with this one, its perspective and capabilities... Maybe n97 will do better trick on some gaps on this one.... We will see

I happened to buy a N85-8GB in the month of November 2008, after a week i experienced hanging / resetting when u do the menu operations, so went back nokia care, and they gave back after 20 days saying that now the phone is ok, i used for 2 days again the same issue so went and shouted and again it went for service to Delhi and gave back after a month, saying its ok. i used for 2 days again the same issue. gave back to them and this time they said a replacement would be given, again the phone came after 25 days. they said that only the old piece has come after servicing. i told that i will not get it. What is this NOKIA brand - they are really cheat and cheap idiots, buying such a costly phone and i have used only for 1 week for that last 5 months. SO PLEASE DONT BUY NOKIA N SERIES PHONES UNLESS U GET A SUPPORT FROM THEM. NOW IM IN HE PROCESS OF TAKING LEGAL ACTION AGAINST NOKIA AND THE UNIVERCELL, PDY FROM WHERE I GOT THE PHONE. THESE UNIVERCELL ARE REALLY BASTARDS. BYE

What briteness settings are you all using?? I am using 75% at moment and fancy using 100% all the time but will this not reduce the AMOLED life time.. The first oled displays only lasted 1000hrs but since then things have improved up to sony 11 inch tele..Any one got any info,,thanx

i purchased n85 1 months back.it is the worst phone i ever used.It restarts during charging and while using any application.I visited nokia care for assistance they upgraded the firmware and said the problem has been sorted out. I found it was unresolved.now while playing videos it hangs up with a long beep sound.and can't switched off manually.i used to restart by removing the battery.
please give me solution.
