josh, 19 Jan 2010can you post the link dude so I can have a look!maybe v30 is another rumor for n86
Hi guys thought of telling more secrets about nokia N86:
Do you know that nokia provides single processors other than the main processor (434 for n86) for image processing?
check it out:
read the video description on the right, N86 uses the better imaging processor among other nokia phones!
N82 and N95 coprocessors are the oldest... , N82 can never match N86 8mp mighty imaging quality, with xenon or even a bi-xenon flash! N82 is sinking in fake rumors, N82 owners will never change there phone until it is broken, even if nokia make a 50 mp phone with 8000K XENON! they always have an excuse, there next phone has to look like a brick, has to be slow, with always low battery!
N82 was good by its time, right now I think N86 RULEZ.
hey guys....do u have any problem with the slider thing?mine is shaky and rubs the 0 button while opening.please tell me guys if it is a usual fault or only mine.....please comment.

sea-breeze, 18 Jan 2010my battery under 3G with Pre-maximum screen brightness and normal use 2 days at max
under... moreWell thats your problem there. Its the 3G network. You should use GSM if you seldom do video calls or surf internet. As you can see even GSM Arena published 2G network always last longer than 3G you can have a look at the specs for N86 as well.
I noticed that on 3G network the reception is always fluctuating up and down like its trying to search for best possible network. Thats draining your battery. We all know that 2G has been in the market for decades and 3G is new compared to it.
Therefore to my knowledge from enquiries to the my country teecom the base station which provide network reception for 3G software is much less than the 2G network base station. Thats why its draining your battery. For my phone when I use 3G at I'm at home my network is like 2 bars but when I switch to 2G its back to full bar. All that processing and searchng for network does drain battery alot otherwise why does mobile manufacturers always published 2G standby or talk time is always better than 3G.
my battery under 3G with Pre-maximum screen brightness and normal use 2 days at max

if u charge every 4 days so u dont use ur fone at all !!!!!!!!!
i make normally 40 min calls some music and gprs and couple of fotos ! 2 days oonly

Andy Burgin, 17 Jan 2010Nokia have really let the N86 down putting such weak speakers on it,as they placed the speaker... moreI'm sorry to remind you that N86 is not a dedicated Music model from Nokia. There are alot of other specs which beats the Music line.
Black Bird, 17 Jan 2010wow man, ur battery really last long. mine last just for about 1 day with 1 hr calling, sms, s... moreBasically as mentioned I only use GSM network as GPRS or 3G network really suck your battery life. It's fine for me as I dont make any 3G call or surf internet without wifi. Turn off Bluetooth, make sure no running apps in the background as you know this is a smartphone so you have to Exit the application yourself, reduce screen brightness. For me the screen brightness is always adjusteg in the middle of the bar. Not forgetting not to over charge your battery. Once lights off unplug. If all else fails try bringing your battery back to Nokia to check if under warranty. Hope this helps.
Subhendu., 17 Jan 2010can you please let me know is Nokia N86 battery last for 3 days, because i am having the phone... moreMaybe you should install V21. For me here's my settings. I use GSM only as I use Wifi more for internet not GPRS and I seldom do video calls, turn off bluetooth when not needed and I do not overcharged the battery. Once the charging lights go off I unplug it. For my usage surfing internet about 1 hour everyday, listen to radio about 1 hour as well when I go for my morning run, average 30 sms, 20 to 30 phone calls as I'm in sales, 6 to 7 pictures using camera. I used to have the Samsung Innov8 and worry about battery issues but I'm glad that I've changed to the N86.
@ "Black bird"
Your Battery Lasts 1 Day? huh? why don't you go S***k your "Xenon sacred Phone"?
@ Those who really can't admit that their N82 is no more the best Nokia Camera phone..I'm really sorry.
Nokia have really let the N86 down putting such weak speakers on it,as they placed the speakers like there Touch Screen mobiles on one side,i had the 5800 an these speakers were spot on but the N86 ones are way to low an no stereo output,i have gone back to the N95 8gb because of the speakers an screen on this class mobile,Hope this year we do get a 12 mega-pixel camera mobile from Nokia as they are losing ground now with the others,an hope they do not do with the N86 use one of there old mobiles an just update it like the N86 was a N85 upgrade an totally wrong idea by Nokia
