There is already a camera comparison among N86, N82, N97 and INNOV8. N82 still beats N86 when it comes to taking pics in total darkness with the flash on. The dual LED flash on N86 is still weak and still no match for N82's Xenon flash. But N86 beats them all in the rest of the tests. N86 makes great photos in every lighting condition but not in total darkness. You can find it on allaboutsymbian.com.
likexx, 20 Jun 2009Why people care too much about the flash? Even if it's Xeon flash, so what? All flash on digit... moreyeah am not worried about the flash.
xenon can be way too strong and make the whole photo look pale in colour.
prefetional photograghers dont rely on there flash they rely on the natural light
notice that in wedding the photogragher will not use the flash but rely on the light.....

listen am gettin that fone in da comin weeks and so worried that ma ... moresaw some night shot on flickr (tupe in nokia n86 photos) they are really empressive let me tell you, they say the 3rd generation dual led flash is the brightest flash in a mobile they have ever see.
and I can assure you that is right as I have done some reserch on the dual leds and found that they are 60% brighter then standed leds and even brighter then the nokia n82 xenon flash...... I was really suprised as I thought the same....
My N86 starting freezing an buttons not responding so took it back to Carphone Warehouse so they gave me a new one ,but same again, just tuning in the Radio an there was not response from the buttons so took the back an battery out to restart it an phoned Carphone Warehouse about the Problem an said they will replace this one as well,if it happens again i will stay with Nokias best ever mobile the N95 8gb an wait till a better handset becomes available
i have bought this handset from themobilestore crystal palm jaipur, this is really a nice handset store person suggested me this handset and i bought.thanks for them
this mobile is adapted from N85, the only difference is the camera which is more developed. but is is a good mobile for people who are graving for change.i am going to purchase it anyway.
the most annoying thing in the nokia n86 is that the two speakers are in one side

fab, 22 Jun 2009Of course, there will be more upcoming 8MP cameraphones from Nokia. It's just normal. N86 8MP ... moreNokia's Symbian Squared OS flagship model, which will be announced within 4 months, will most likely have the same camera (slightly improved) as the N86.
Of course, there will be more upcoming 8MP cameraphones from Nokia. It's just normal. N86 8MP is the first 8MP cameraphone and there are more to come. If you want an 8MP cameraphone right now, then buy N86 8MP now. But if you want an 8MP cameraphone loaded with more features, probably a Nokia 8MP touchscreen phone, then wait 6 more months or so.
There won't be an upgrade to N86 8MP because the N86 8MP is already an upgrade to the N85, as the N95 8GB is an upgrade to the N95.
andy burgin, 21 Jun 2009Got a very difficult decision to make, will Nokia be releasing a much better camera mobile for ... moreThat happened to me too. Bought my n95 for 380pounds and a week later rumours about the n95 8gb was spreading all over the net. I was so angry and i hoped that there won't be a n95 8gb.A month later n95 8gb launched for the same price as the classic n95 and it had all of the thing that were annoying me fixed.Double the ram, bigger screen,BETTER BATTERY,8GB. So i think wait for the upcoming one.It may be a more beautiful n86
gagan, 22 Jun 2009is n86 is better than n95 8gb?Probably, but both of them have their own pros and cons.
