at last gsm arena got a review of this phone, there trying to say negative things about the camera but HA THEY CANT its just to good a camera phone!
But I must say that the speakers are not so good, I expected something really good like the N81 or N95. But in high level it gets distorted.
I hope this is just a problem with the software, and an update would fix it.
Just tested the FM Transmitter in my's radio, and I can confidently say that the signal is much stronger than my old N78. You no longer hear these small squeaking noises.
As a proud owner of the N82 ...
at night pics
Does that fone beats the Xenon N82
its just a simple clear question !
so can any1 got that fone upload a night pic with the flash on to compare with the N82 !!!
I am deciding between this phone and the N97.
Because I'm afraid the touchscreen could get out of order. I think touchscreen phones can be more delicate.
I prefer the N97, but I don't want to have trouble with the screen..
i wil bet after the new 8mp ph0ne,n0kia wil an0unce a new 8mp..ph0ne its either g0na b smaLler or it has a xen0n wid a leD flash..thats wat they always do..
I've got it!!!!!!! and look forget about the competition from se or samsung only a stand alone cam can beat this one and if anyone is wondering why led and not xeon, well simply put the 3rd gen led flash is much stronger than any other flash currently available....oh and about how it looks well it's just gorgeous...... yes i do admit that it looks a bit old in the pics but in my hands it'd the most well made phone ever.
I assure you mates, with SE, you'll be happy and confident, besides your SE will be a star longer since SE doesn't turn out one model after the other quickly, unlike other brands that seems to be manufacturing hotcakes.
snofly, 20 Jun 2009hmmm-made in china???!! I told myself, enough is enough, I can not bear these headaches anymore. A complete replacement of brands is underway. I just purchased a SE W760i plus the lowly SE T303 for my wife. A SE W995 for myself plus the humbly cheap SE T303. SEs for my daughters will follow as the budget permits.
snofly, 20 Jun 2009hmmm-made in china???!! My daughter's 3250, made in China, again made a trip to the repair center at this moment in time.
snofly, 20 Jun 2009hmmm-made in china???!! Made in China? Well, quality will be Chinese. I have several Nokias made in China, I threw them one after the other. They kept me occupied with headaches.
Got a very difficult decision to make, will Nokia be releasing a much better camera mobile for the 4th Quarter of this year,so is it worth keeping my N86 or stay with my N95 8gb until we get news about new releases from Nokia,as thats whats annoys you ,you sign up for a mobile then a couple of weeks after a much better mobile is announced,Nokia did that with the N95,an couple of weeks after released the N95 8gb so was very angry signing up to early for the N95,so will keeping a close look out for any new nokia mobiles being released
fab, 21 Jun 2009The reason why N86 8MP is underrated is because it has a great camera mixed in an outdated fea... moreN86 is the ONLY phone worldwide to have wide angle of view (28mm equivalent). This alone should make this phone worth it.
The reason why N86 8MP is underrated is because it has a great camera mixed in an outdated feature set. Nokia should've incorporated the 8MP Carl Zeiss lens on the N97 and not on a midrange phone like N86. N86 is considered only midrange today because it still doesn't exceed the feature set of a 2-year old flagship device, N95 8GB. N95 8GB during its time is in top of the ladder because it's the only one which had the features it boasted. N86 is actually not competing with Samsung INNOV8. INNOV8, just like N95 8GB and N96, is a flagship device, while N86 is a midrange handset only. INNOV8 was released almost a year ago thus becoming the first 8MP camera phone. Samsung will now be releasing an 8MP camera phone with same or even better camera tech specs than N86: 8MP lens, Xenon and LED flash units, variable aperture, mechanical shutter and optical zoom. And what's even more astonishing is the bearer of this high technological camera is not even a smartphone. So, I think that Nokia is really trailing behind the competition.
