Anonymous, 17 Feb 2009ok so Sony Ericsson Idou has a 12MP which will not nesserly be better quality than an 5 or 8MP... moreActually, ALL lenses are NOT carl zeiss quality unless specified as such. Look at lenses spec'd as "sony" lenses. Sony ownes Minolta camera group and as such, these lenses are made by them.
this is a beautiful looking model man i wonder if it's still dual slide
Actually it's not a flagship model, it' s just a N85 successor ( it's previous name was N85 8mp) - it has the same specs as N85 apart from better camera and digital compas. The real 8MP flagship is yet to be announced
C'mon guys, what do u expect when saying Nokia has 2 be innovative?
I'd say they were the first 2 come with a dual slide design, n as far I see it, they really have succeeded with this design (beginning with the revolutionary N95).
So what's wrong in them persisting with this winning formula yet again?
Moreover if you check the white model, and to an extent even the black one, they look real chic, especially with that outer metallic look finish.
NOKIA im still waitin on innovations!!! ... Ur like 8mp too late with this phone ... i better wake up tmw n see something better ... touch screens with more than 8mp show SE u can bring it ... P.s Samsung is kinda outdoing you so u need to bring it! or samsung will be the next world leaders... is tht wat u want !!! HELL NO! come on NOKIA lets go!

Things change and the way Nokia is handling things (for instance look at this phone)they'll be sure to end up like motorola... BTW. the base of all Nokia's market share lies in cheap, low-end devices...
Antonio, 17 Feb 2009Has anyone noticed at the top of the front it says N85 8MP?Yeah! coz Gsmareña is bias
what kind of keypad is this .... its just like a chordless beetel phone.... otherwise gadget is fully packed...

Nokia is currently the world's largest manufacturer of mobile phones, with a global device market share of approximately 40% in 2008. Other major mobile phone manufacturers (in order of market share) include Samsung (14%), Motorola (14%), Sony Ericsson (9%) and LG (7%). These manufacturers account for over 80% of all mobile phones sold and produce phones for sale in most countries.
Sorry you are the one dreaming here!!!
I'm glad that you still feeling happy about this phone. I'm really glad for your happines at least. I'm not a Nokia hater but they really need a change! But I guess we'll just have to wait and see. It's just a matter of time before Nokia's graph is going down (According to the current development of their phones)
Anonymous, 17 Feb 2009Please, all Nokia fanboys.. stop write pages of nonsens. Stop being so conservative and just r... moreLMAO. Remind me. Who sold the most mobile phones last year? NOKIA. Who is still the market leader? NOKIA.
Its only sad individuals like you who go "OMG 12 Mega Pixel this must be the best phone ever." When clearly its not and you fail in life.
Please, all Nokia fanboys.. stop write pages of nonsens. Stop being so conservative and just realize the fact that Nokia really IS loosing the grip of the market. What's the point of having a good camera when everything else in the phone really SUCKS compared to Samsung, SE and LG. If the fuzz is all about the camera, buy a proper camera and don't keep arguing for this junk.. Nokia was really good 6 years ago. But if you haven't noticed, it's 2009 now. Nokia need a major change in their way of phone manufacturing! This phone feels like a really desperate move that failed^2. Sorry
