CON, 15 Mar 2010thanks for your reply. What "programs" can be installed to reveal sender's id? thanksI stand corrected but that is Service provider dependant, you can change a setting on your phone to diss-allow sending your Nr but not the other way round, again i stand under correction though
I myself have the big brother of this phone, granted it a lttle older but prolly at around the same price by now, now i've had my N96 from new for the last yr and a hlf and other then a camera with slightly better resolution the older phone has more of everything else and i love my
n96 if you're gonna spend 5 K on the N86 rather buy the more established N96 all you'll be sacrificing is camera resolution and i guarantee most of you won't even notice the difference, that said still a decent phone this N86 i give it a 4 out of 5 for almost everything a 2 out of 5 for value for money i'd go for the N96 rather
Can anyone tell me where I can download mobile tv or live tv application for my N86 to use with Nokia DVB-H su33. I have seached OVI store and could not find it. Thanks

Yes, you can install Garmin Mobile XT software. You can use it without internet.
Actualy, people who says that n86 is not night time cameraphone are right, but in daytime n86 is the winner. n82 only advantage is xenon flash. nothing else. If you like n97, 5800 but dont need touchscreen n86 is for you. Absolutly the same performance and no tochscreen. I like it
i have it only 15 days and phone accumulates dust under the screen.
that is 100% true
Anonymous, 15 Mar 2010is it true that the screen accumulates dust?No it isnt. This phone's been mine for almost 2 months and i have no problem with the screen. it's as amazing as i expected it to be.

Everyone knows dat N86 is way better than N82, in all aspects. There's no point of comparing these two. They just wants to prove dat their N82 is better than N86, they are just jealous because N82 is outdated and they can't afford to buy N86. Those who think N82 is better, go to hell. And leave us alone, because this forum is for N86.
Most people take pictures in bad lighting conditions. Very few will have the opportunity of a bright sunlight aiding you in capturing images. That's why no matter how good the sensor on N86, it still can't and won't beat N82 in night shots. N86 is a daylight landscape camera phone that's why it's got a variable aperture wide-angle for capturing landscape sceneries. N82 is a night closeup camera phone that's why it's got a xenon flash for capturing brighter and clearer images of anything within 2 metres.

is ther a lag when sendin sms? or mayb it takes awhile 2 send 1 message? how long would tat be? after firmware upgrade it stil happens? does tis phone lag or hangs? i reli wana get tis phone but worried tat my money paid is nt worth for this kind of minor things tat i hav heard ppl complain...thx
seriously, this thing is heavy as hell -.-
n86 makes my brother's n97 feels light(i know they're at the same weight, but i just say what i feel), and it makes my old 6120c feels like a feather.
i don't complain though, it's just that, it takes time to be used to this phone's weight.
keypad looks comfortable and like the white colour mobiles, hope they put in the 600MHz proccessor in.
Anonymous, 13 Mar 2010what is amoled??Active Matric OLED (Organic LED), new technology for displays, pretty good, with black black, and very low baterry consumption. ;-)
