AJ, 26 Apr 2012not evn IOS is betr dan Android so 4get abt MeeGo...Ios is a good OS but with too many restrictions. So, don't compare it when you are comparing MeeGo and Android.
MeeGo and Android both are Linux based OS. But there are too many differences. MeeGo is much more capable of doing things.
MeeGo is much more open OS as compared with Android. Developers has much more access to the OS. Even a user who don't know too much about Linux can easily follow the commands and make the changes as he required.
In case of multitasking Android do well but its not any more innovative. It acts not 100% but almost equal to 2003 device Nokia 6600. Android allow you to run the apps in the background but very limited apps and most of those apps which are preinstalled. Means it may not run the apps in background which you have installed. Also it pause the apps in the background which consumes more than 10% of CPU.
But there is no such restrictions in case of MeeGo. You can run as many apps as you want and no app in the background will be paused. Everyone will keep on working.
Another thing Android has a big flaw in it that it cant run on lower hardware specifications. It needs really big hardware to work fluently. But in case of MeeGo it is really hardware friendly. You can see N9 running on single core 2 year old processor without any lag.
MeeGo is much more developed than Android. It is much more easy to use and understandable OS.
All this does not mean that Android is bad. Android is really a good OS. After MeeGo my personal choice is Android. But MeeGo is the best

it looks so beautiful but very disappointing! my device freezes all the time so i have to turn it off and on again so i can use it, not only the phone but the other apps too! i cannot download pandora too because it requires the flash player to do that but the software wouldn't allow the flash player to be downloaded! i feel like i was swindled when i got this phone!!!

You can find both free and paid FM radio for N9. Look for in the Nokia store or look at my-meego.com at software catalogue. Paid is about 2euro (0.50 USD?) and it is more developed and featured version of free FM radio. One of them is RDS radio. You can see at youtube how they works, all of them (but not in one file of course ;) ).

Ch.Saqib, 26 Apr 2012Go to store. You will find there FM radio apps. But unfortunately they are not freeyes but theres some people says that you can install FM radio free

Hi all N9 owner, hope you all can help on this. After I uninstall the program, the original icon cannot be removed and is replaced with a arrow icon without name.
I had uninstalled more than 10 programs and now have 10 similar arrow icons on the menu.
Please help....
