I am sure more of you guys will eventually admit that N9 isnt so great, many will in a month or 3 admit i was right, and maybe remember my advice: Forget about lowres displays, make your next phone a HD.
I havent tested Xperia S yet but i plan to buy, just not now as i am going abroad and need to pay tickets and keep some cash reserve. However i have tested Galaxy Note and i promise you guys, HD is what you want, you may not know it yet but you REALLY want HD. Galaxy Note is surprisingly good for a Samsung, and the size is not as bad as you may think. Xperia S is surely better, and smaller, cant go wrong with xperia, best android fones out now.

My two main phones. Now you prove to us you have an N9.
AnonD-13986, 14 Mar 2012Dont think you have/had the N9. You are the one who have been bashing N9 since the time it was... moreYes i hav pointed out weaknesses of the N9 but i hav also pointed out good things about it, even recommended it. I am not a fanboi, the only fone i have loved unconditionally was N900, if you knew more about me you would know i have critisized other phones i own as well, the Xperia Pro has not received merciful comments from me but it is the best phone i have.
What you call N9 bashing has been pointed out by several reviews, including gsmarena. For example, start an app from the menu and wait, have you never found yourself almost tapping the icon once more because you were not sure it was already started? Then you are the one who dont own an N9. The truth is that N9 is often very slow, owners know that. Its very far from perfect, and that cannot be denied if you really own one. Get an N900 if you want to see for yourself that N9 is a big step backwards from its predecessor.

photo sharing for n9 is soo complicated. it's nice to have flickr but i really don't know how to use it. can't even send a picture thru chat.

Anonymous, 13 Mar 2012the (pr1.2) update should be global!1.2 update is global, sometimes some regions needs specific languages or sometimes operators who prpares branded update causes delays. This update is aviable globaly.
imamaja, 13 Mar 2012i have nokia n9 for about week.i like it more than my n8, but the problem is I cant update it.... moreYes. List of most important updates with 1.2 you have in wikipedia here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nokia_N9 . In some regions 1.2 update is delayed but for sure it is worth to update as there is a lots of improvements nd most of them are based of users demands, so N9 with 1.2 becoms much better staff. Update takes from aboout 40mins declared by Nokia to 1hour, so be prepared for this! You MUST NOT to stop or break update process, as this is hardware related process. You should receive notification tht there is 1.2 update, ask your operator: if phone is branded then sometimes update can be late, even months but due to branding by operator and not by Nokia. Preparing to update make sure the internet connection is stabile, so the phone will be able to download update w/o problems. Have fun.
if nokia will put an effort on to this OS this can be a breakthrough, this will become top class, even better than android or iOS, hmmm so until then ill stick with ios. :P

V-Max, 13 Mar 2012I am already using N9. How come this phone doesnt work and a new N9 will workIt doesnt work because of the old firmware? N9 is very bad out of the box, gets a lot better with Pr1.1, and a little better with PR1.2. But sorry to say, i was a biiig fan of N900 and i liked the N9 at first when i bought it (after updating with PR1.1), but now i like it less and less, its not a keeper, sorry.
Nokia currently have no interesting phones, no worthy successor for N900 (best ever phone regardless of brand). I no longer recommend N9, i am back to my SE Xperia Pro, and considering Xperia S as next phone. I gave Nokia a last chance, and got disappointed, i done all i can to get back to Nokia and now have to admit they lost the touch, Nokia is going down.
