So many people talking about our just over two years old device.
I did say in one of my months old post that N9 is all about what you can do with a phone, and not necessarily what it can do for you.
Some expect it to do what they already know phones do. Not so, pls. Nokia made the phone without installing Java Runtime Environment, thus unabling the phone to run Jar/Jad files. JRE is ONLY installed by manufacturer. Having apps that are available for other phones on N9 is NOW COMPLETELY dependent on the mercy of third party app-making literates (since Finland has been fooled of Nokia).
Games like God of War and the likes can be written with protocol that will see it played through debian extension files (and not Jar or apk). This is how it will work on N9.
I love this phone, but N9 is dying. Why? Simple! It does so much and so we're overusing it. When mine dies, I hope to bury it like man.
Long Live Nokia's All-Time Best.
Guys, yesterday I installed sailfish on my Nokia N9 and it's really awesome. It's better than android. Everything things work like calling, texting and wifi. Just apps and I think they will fix it soon
Superb device, could be even better if it was officially released in many more countries. Just a great phone, like the N8, this is a legend too.
i love nokia n9 but as time goes by it hangs a lot. The browser is weak. I love the screen, the speaker and the battery sometimes. What i donr like is laggy specily when using the browaer. :(
Asif , 02 Dec 2013Its is quite annoying handset. You are unable to run .jar + .jad files i.e. Not supported by j... moreMego is not a Symbian OS, it's a a linux operating system. There is a whats app client it'c called Wazzap.
Liton, 02 Dec 2013this is not user friendly mobile . I am suffering lot of problem .
I am using Iphone 4s it i... moreWell if you like your iPhone so much than why are you positing on a Nokia n9 specific page? Sounds a bit silly to do that doesn't it...
This is a brilliant phone which doesn't cease to amaze. It is very smooth, especially if you install Faster N9 using the Nokia tweaks app. I would recommend this phone to anyone, the only thing that it is slightly lacking is the web experience, due to it's single core processor (this doesn't mean that you can't navigate websites but if the site has a lot of animation and effects, especially desktop version of sites, you will fell a slight lag, nothing to serious though).
guys...this phone supports Android 4.1 just checkout this video....:)
