AnonD-21632, 04 Mar 2012Like I guessed, you use wlan on both of your phones and maybe there is not enough upload bandw... moresadly, there's no available n9 plan here in japan. all iOS and android. so i have to use a prepaid one or for my roaming network.
naaah, video call is merely not an issue for me. still, calls were enabled, that would do.:) and i don't have a lot of friends using google so i think i should wait for skype. :)

HSPDA is just another name of 3.5G :D, high speed 3G.

agucibu, 02 Mar 2012With the Harmattan 1.2 update, the N9 is, so far, one of the best phones I ever had...
And,... moreTrue...the n9 is just the best phone to have.
After the update i cleared my phone and set up power saver mode back and everything else works perfectly

yep, i'm using same wifi for both phones. hsdpa? hahaha i'm so sorry. i'm really not educated with these things. iphone was my first smartphone then i switch to n9 that's why i have these problems. maybe i'll switch again to 808 once it comes out.:)
anyway, what should i do? i can;t open the link u gave me.

N9 can open that many apps with it's 1GB, no phone has 16GB of ram, for now.
That 16GB is storage, much like a hard drive on your computer, which has nothing to do with how many apps you can run at a time, besides having enough storage to install 25 apps for example, but you don't need anywhere near 16GB storage for a measely 25 apps or 1GB or 500MB for that matter.

Btw, did you use wlan for both phones while making video calls? I got some problem like yours too but only for a few seconds, then it works wonderfully, like this :D:

But saying its fast is not true, it takes very long time to open apps. After tapping an icon in the start menu you dont get much feedback, you just sit there and wait and wonder if you have to tap the same icon once more. And yes i am on PR1.2.
Edit: lets say it like this: You do NOT want to compare the speed of N9 with for example Galaxy Note.

This is incerdibily fast phone and having almost endless possibilities.

AnonD-31621, 03 Mar 2012i already downloaded it. i tried it with VTok on my iP4, it just made my n9 laggy. Maybe you use both phones with same network so bandwith divide into two-> lag due to insufficient bandwith? I tested it with my friend, both use dsl and it works super. No lag though I opened other apps too, I even made screenshots while video calling :D.
