Andrew, 16 Feb 2012guys i'm struggling with making a decision, which phone would you recommend ?Nokia N9, Blackbe... moreJust forget about BlackBerry, choose between N9 and Lumia 800. N9 is a unique and ultra-practical device, I own one and so far it's doin' just great. Lumia 800 is also OK but for me it feels like, in the office windows, at home windows, for my mobile phone windows too? No way :)))

[deleted post]I have used Galaxy S2 and found these problems that anyone who used SGS2 can confirm:
1. The screen is blue where it should be white, plus its too big for so low res (N9 has higher res but still too low for its display size)
2. it looks ret@rded to walk around with a phone thats so clearly an iPhone copy.
3. Battery life is ridiculous
4. The plastic feeling is intense and overwhelming, IT FEELS DIRTY, not nice to touch.

Ash..., 18 Feb 2012I need to buy a good phone but it seems no one is giving information looks like joking. If any... moreN9 has a very limited number of apps.. And since it's the only meego phone, there's no chance that developers will be interested. Overall, the phone is vey good. But I suggest you either go for an Apple iPhone 4S or a Samsung Galaxy S II because of obvious reasons. Nokia's gonna be out of the competition soon.
Head to a showroom and take demo of N9, Galaxy SII & iPhone 4s. You can refer to the various comparisons available on GSMArena where those 3 are put together. You can make the choice accordingly then. :)

im an n9 owner for almost a month...the unit is perfect as a phone...,as a multimedia device, its up to you on how to use its capabilities to the maximum...it slows down a little bit when you open more applications but it's expected since it takes time to process(eg. 1-2 secs). i didn't experience any hangs so it is a relatively stable OS. you don't have to worry about the performance because there will be updates & other applications to be released. It's an immortal smartphone...N9 rocks!

If any... morei'm using my factory-unlocked n9 for almost 2 weeks already and it lacks some of the important features like the Nokia drive(they don't have GPS support in Japan, i guess). videocalling is coming one the next update so there's nothing to worry about. my battery last for almost 2 days with moderate usage. the UI is veeery smooth though sometimes i'm experiencing some lags when opening some apps. the browser is also fast.
still waiting for the next update and hoping for a big improvement.
