i dont want to compare the phone with other vendors,coz each has der own funtionality.i used iphone 4 and galaxy s2 ...now i got n9 vt me and its lik im holding ma girlfriend...perfect desiegn...easy to use.there is no thousend of application availble on the market but it does hav main required application.it dosent have dual core prcessor but speed is compaaqtivly same..what we missing from nokia n900 is ctrl key...and other language support..my ranking.8.8/10

AnonD-37941, 13 Jan 2012does the music player stop when u swipe it or it stays on while working on another application?If you can access it from the lock screen, it is obvoius the player still plays when swiped away (not closed) from the screen!

And Android isnt even close to being linux other than the reduced functionality linux kernel. Saying Android is Linux is simply WRONG, with Linux we still refer to GNU/Linux, and N900 is the only phone that can defend itself as being GNU/Linux. Wats Linux without GNU? Same as Apple OSX would be without the gui, it would be Darwin, which in many ways is BSD, FreeBSD. So Android is not linux then. Android is android, it was made for pushing ads, to make money for google, google is an ad company and does not give us android out of the goodness of their heart. Its not free. GNU/Linux on the other hand is free, no ads, no crap.

This phone looks lovely n I have read a lot of positive comments on it but, I have one concern... I kn the spec says it has java but I want to kn has anyone installed java apps in this phone? Thanks

does anyonone can tell. Is it POSSIBLE to ZOOM while making a video? (filming) is it available at 1.2 update?? (i think its not available at 1.1?)
