MeeGo or Android? what i know about Mee... moreyou're wrong :) ther is no "much better" in this case. they're both linux; the difference is in UI and how they run apps (android uses a java machine, meego is using C and qt); also the management of resource will have something to say here (as far as I know, meego is more efficient, but I may be wrong). I personally prefer meego, but I'm sure that others will prefer the droid. It is a matter of taste.

Sosyalisth, 21 Nov 2011For those of you who has an N9, what is the average battery life of your phone? And, how often... more1 day with quite heavy use -active surfing 2 hours wifi, 2 hours 3G, 1 hour game, 1 hour videos. 2 days if moderate use, i.e. 4 hours active use per day.
With the PR 1.1. update, battery life is better, esp on standby/idle. Those who mostly let it sync emails/RSS feeds & social networks periodically will like it that way

why nokia is lacking
not only in fone specifications but
also produce smaller battery Amh capacity for net browsing.

Many companies support and expand/improve it.
It has the biggest user base and also the faster rates of growth.
It has the most free 3rd party applications.
It is established and there is zero risk of its survival.
On the other hand, Maebo is a wild card, at this moment it is the least supported OS, even WIN7 has some support from the companies. It will never become a symbian, at max it would beat the new windows, but since this is not at Nokias interests, it is destined to stay low. It will be hard to find the apps/games you want across the world and chances are that you will pay more for less...

Guys, the update has been pulled down off the Nokia Australia website, this is ridiculous :(
I need the update as my phone keeps draining my battery :(

Still didn't get the update of PR1.1 in Hungary. Is there an update schedule page available about when I would get it? I don't want to flash, but I could. When will the latest N9 phone get the update (which gets the update only last time)?
