Nokia mainly manufactures cellphones so don't expect them to produce nail polish, duh :|
dickyy, 13 Oct 2011can someone give me a feedback opinion which is best you prefer nokia n9 or samsung s2 ??Of course Galaxy S2 ? Are you crazy for asking this question?
[deleted post]an experience so far is not good, apart of sync issue, there are some functionality issues, which I will describe later. In general before bying the phone make sure you check each function, that you might need in the phone (not only whether the required function exists, but also how it works and settings). It appears that Nokia was so desperate to release the phone, that they even did not have time to polish its OS. The above does not mean that it is a bad phone, but it definitely needs software updates.

Donovan, 13 Oct 2011Use your other phone to sync all the data that you had one a backup file instead.my other phone is Samsung Innov8 (an old but good one). It can connect via bluetooth to N9 but synchronization fails.
Just got my N9 today, been playing with it all day.
My thoughts:
The good:
- Great, intuitive UI. Looks fantastic, and unlike Symbian, offers a fluid, fun user experience that can rival iOS and Android. The swiping gesture is very easy, and you get used to it pretty quickly. I did come from an N900, which also doesn't have a physical "home" button, so maybe it was easier for me.
- Great at multitasking - had several apps open with no lag at all
- Fast internet, fast phone
- Many people have shown their dislike for the simplified and non-customisable homescreens (unlike Nokia's other phones), but I actually like the three homescreens. The notifications/events screen is great (though I wish that you could see upcoming events also).
The not so good:
- Unlike the N900, I can't play megavideo (and other similar sites) on it
- Like the iphone (and unlike other Nokia phones), to delete music files you need to connect it to a computer (if I'm wrong about this, please correct me).
I'm not a huge app or game person, so I don't have much need for more than the pre-loaded and basic apps. Unsurprisingly, the app ecosystem of the N9 is pretty small, and considering Nokia's practically abandoned Meego even before it really gts a chance, I'm not that hopeful that things will improve significantly. Coming from the N900 (which I will keep around), I would love Cutetube (to download and save youtube videos), an fm transmitter and full web browsing capacity (to play megavideo vids) and the N9 would really be perfect for me.
All in all, it does lack some of the practicality and functionality that the N900 had, but IMO it does make up for it in the user experience and form factor. It has a "wow" factor to it (and is very stable), which Nokia has lacked in recent years.
can someone give me a feedback opinion which is best you prefer nokia n9 or samsung s2 ??
