Hi Singapore, I got a chance to play with this beauty today.. Just amazing.. Real fluidity...
When you rotate the phone while the camera mode is on, the tiny icons such as settings, flash etc also rotating with nice effect... simply superb...
Hi, Get Notified link is disappeared from Nokia Singapore website for this beauty!
What does this means??? Get delayed again or Launch by this week??
Nokia and advertisers talking about the Nokia n9, how good it is. What about continuation? On phone. On or two updates. The Nokia ditches this project leaving all users with a phone that doesn’t work because no updates are coming. The first leaving this burning platform will be the developers. How fun and exiting can this n9 be if you look at this phone this way? Nokia really doesn’t know how to build hype around a new product release. The hype is what catches potential Byers interest and is not to be underestimated.
Will it be possible to have android apps on the N9? Dou you think there will be a price-drop after a couple of months?
ahmed, 10 Oct 2011are you sure no hdmi ?????? you wrong there is hdmi Hey..i guess he was referring to hdmi port....N9 doesn have hdmi port...only port available is a micro usb port and tat headphone port
AnonD-25682, 10 Oct 2011And I would like to add, the sealed battery compartment was very much needed for nokia for a l... morehey....congrats on ur new mobile.. am also planning to get the 64gb version... ;)
I have just EXPERIENCED the new NOKIA N9 today and I was awestruck. Thanks to Nokia Philippines' Corporate Communications Manager. She showed to us two prototype models of the cyan and magenta units. She further disclosed to us that the N9 will be available MID-NOVEMBER 2011. I will post the photo links on my next post.
n9 is the master piece, with no front buttons, quite unusual. nokia always set the pace and others just follow. Nokia is the real and undisputed leader.
I love this phone - so easy to navigate - just flick apps away either sideways or up and down!!
Extremely well built and gorgeous display - well worth the asking price!!
Anonymous, 10 Oct 2011This is a great phone, no doubt about that, but if you used a N8 before you will feel that N8 ... morewell here is a nice solution. search MyMove for N9 and N950. it is available in ovi store. you can draw any pattern of gestures and save it for application starter shortcut. anywhere in the OS you can draw on the screen then launch the application you want.
Anonymous, 10 Oct 2011No hdmi, no good OS, no good processor, no graphic controller, no good sensitive touch screen,... moreWhat a statement indeed....suddenly someone from a cave comes out. I hope your life is not so negative as like your comment.
No hdmi, no good OS, no good processor, no graphic controller, no good sensitive touch screen, too expensive, waste of money,
malaysia, 10 Oct 2011Yeah.. i got my N9 last nite... Something New to play with.. no like old symbian, android and ... moreWow..also planning to own one. Wan to ask, how do you rate the phone after using it for quite sometimes? How's the camera and video quality (especially during night or low light condition)? How powerful and smooth it feels compare with other phones that you know? What is your general view of the phone? I ask because i want to know the real feel in true life scenario, not just reading the spec sheet. TQ
Available, 10 Oct 2011Its available in Malaysia now.. I went to phone shop just now.. A seller there trying to be... moreYeah, it's like that. so why waste so much energy to argue with that "guy". So what do you think of this device when you first hands on ?
AnonD-25682, 10 Oct 2011If I need to flaunt amongst my social circle...I will focus on what it has than what it doesn'... moreThis is a great phone, no doubt about that, but if you used a N8 before you will feel that N8 is way faster in doing things. I'm not talking about processing speeds here I'm talking about the user completing a task on the phone.
For example, want to make a call to someone. Firstly you need to bring up the shortcuts from sliding up from the bottom or go the app screen. Then you need to dig through the contact list to find the person. whereas the N8 the call button is always at the bottom of the screen. and once your in the dialler you just need to input the persons name with the keypad, which is much faster.
