I can't even express how much I'm disappointed with the phone. You can not sync your contacts, calendar, notes with PC. this is so stupid. You can do it with your videos, music and pics, but can't do contacts and calendar. Nokia PC Suite and Ovi Suite does not support N9. This simply kills the whole idea of having smartphone. Really very very bad job.

OMG i come here to see how N9 is getting on and sgs2 users are in here as well..
Look sgs2 users we have all had sgs2 and sold it because too big..When will the sgs2 users get it into their heads there is life outside that fone.

Thx to Nokia backstabbing intel and intel backstabbing nokia, this phone can be caled as non-usable even before launch. And it alsow means that there is absolutly no phone that would be worth to buy!

Disappointed, 12 Oct 2011Really disappointed on Nokia. At first when i look at the pic, looks sexy and slim.. But whe... moreyou blind? the phone is really thin. Its 7.6mm(world's thinnest) at the thickest point its 11.3 mm Thats because the glass protrude out so its really like 10Mm thick.

But when test the phone on spot.. OMG.. its thick!!
Secondly the phone dont have much apps and games to be downloaded.. dont have many games/app means cannot fully utilized.. Its another dead platform like symbian..

a gorgeous phone...if they release the Android app store for it (as rumored) then we are all in business.
i love how different it is from the rest. the swipe is my favorite. the look of the phone and the feel of it.
they need to introduce a proper email/contact sync program with the MS.

Nokia great phones usually come last to USA,
and Nokia like that wants to be first? no way!
I lost faith i will see n9 any time soon here,
maybe i will get it from Mexico.

@bankai - She hasn't mentioned about pre-orders but when asked about the price, she said that they're making it "as affordable as possible" so as to give stiff competition with the rising smartphone brands today. She also didn't gave me any particular date but instead gave mid-November as their target date. At least one thing is for sure, it's coming very, very soon here in the Philippines :D

meego looking impressive.nokia can never discontinue this phone if it brings lot of money.so future lie on us.if sale increase nokia will be force to manufacture more units.and who knows some new meego phones on the way

this phone is amazing but its still half baked when compared to the n8 and other symbian phones.
I don't know what Nokia is thinking but
it has front facing camera but you can't use it. No video calls. You can't even use the front facing camera from the camera app. Does it even work?
Its has dolby sound. But no equalizer in music player.
It has a radio transceiver but no software to make it work.
No smart dialler makes calling certain people really slow.
You can't change the shortcuts and the homescreen only works in portrait mode.
And the to-do list doesn't even appear on the notification screen. I mean how you going to remind yourself what to do.
And there's no live widgets except for the weather.
Come on Nokia, Do expect the developers to fill in the gaps for you?
