You are not buying it and we are not using your money to buy. Lets see if your S2 can survive 3 years, my minimum standard. oh, by then you buy S3 already, haha, 'richl people.
I still see the S2 users comment in the news thread on heating & battery life issues.

The polycarbonate used to make N9 is used in ice hockey helmet. In a meego meeting to intro the n9, the nokia smashed it down hard on concrete, a couple of times. No stratch.

Now you say this, if samsung takes up meego, you'll be talking different tune, lol.

It can run up to 20 apps without lag.//SGS2 can run 20 HD games at a time.

Meego is a much more efficient OS than android./// yes becoming next orphan too. no any company want to undertake meego. and for your kind information android have taken 70% of world market. this is enough too know which is efficient and performer.

Meego = 2GHz android./// huhuhuhuhu who told you? some1 in your dream???

And also the battery life beats all over smartphones as claimed by the ppl who had already used the phone.// yes all nokia fans used this phone till now :D

Also the display is much more superior than the sg2 display./// super amoled plus and amoled word has some diffrence :D

N9 is fitted with Carl Zeiss lens camera which producer the best image quality of any phone besides the n8. // Once upon a time i was nokia n82 user which having carl zeiss optics but that time LG viewity camera beaten this carl zeiss. so carl zeiss not makes any diffrence.

N9 is made from a tough 1 piece of polycarbonate whereas sg is cheap plastic./// well these company is not foool as you think. they placed plastic for absorbe heat thats why they nt implemented metal body .

the biggest problem is heating, samsung is unable to fix this problem.
Batarry back up 0nly 6 hours, charging takes 2 hrs.
Only Class 12 Gprs in such a high price model, nokia c3 such a low price model has Class32 gprs.

Nokia makes extremely rugged phone..but lags compet with at least 1 year. Now we r hoping a comeback with symbian belle 500, 600, 700 etc . The N9 is ravishing in looks ...Why meego ..not symbian a tried tested software in this part of world India.
Nokia has a great brand value, however it overchargesindians for their loyalty...emotional atyachaar !. Hope it churns out VFM products and seize back its turf in India. Good luck nokia..expect to see N9 with symbian belle

Skunkey, 18 Sep 2011Well, SGSII is better in everything than NN9 (I might be wrong, 'cause I never finished readin... moreThat is why I've been saying in the other threads, Samsung or other such type phones are for the fashionable, every 1 to 2 years change phone. The last Samsung I had was only 1.5 years, due to 2 drops. That's the shortest lifetime for any mobile phone I've owned. The Nokias I've owned lasted 5 years, now I give it 3 years, due to the "Made in China" sets, which is what all Asia countries get .

You havent seen the videos on N9 yet on it's fluidity. It's Meego not Symbian, different experience from N8. But if it's apps & loads of apps that you want, Android would be your thing.

it's sad this awesome device with so much richness hardware-wise gets an OS that isn't so much used and popular. i'm sure the number of aps meego has is in level (if not less) with bada os

Also the display is much more superior than the sg2 display. Better viewing angles, better under sunlight and everything. Gsm arena even had an article about this.

N9 is fitted with Carl Zeiss lens camera which producer the best image quality of any phone besides the n8. The low light quality is superb. Just take a look at the N9 photo gallery and you see why it has the best camera.

In 2005 i bought an Iaudio X5 ("mp3-player"). It had a low-resolution color screen, and 20 GB HDD and supported all important audio formats (MP3, WMA, FLAC,WAV, asf and OGG Vorbis).

I was very sad when I broke the internal battery (only runs on mains) after ruough handling in the military). I have found no close match (worth paying for) in temrs of specs and it has been even harder in terms of finding it in a phone (because, who wants to have TWO gadgets in his pocket if there is ONE that has it all?).

N9 supports ogg vorbis, FLAC (lossless audio) AND Dolby Digital plus! This (and the fact that it is actually a superb smart phone too) made me order the 64Gb version and I am dying for the package to come...

(I have been doing OK with the Nokia 5800 Gun Black and a 16 GB MicroSDHC this far but running out of memo)

But if you look at my comment, I said: "almost everything", 'cause I thought of your notion. And I do agree with you. But I am too spoiled to use a phone for 5 years. I never use a phone longer than 1 year (except for NN8. I used it longer than a year and still am using it), after a year of SGS (I'm not talking about older history), I bought SGSII. Acording to the news, SGSIII might come at summer (which is a year after SGSII). I'm not sure about the service center of Samsung. Seemed good enough for me. Well, Symbian OS seems good enough for others while I still get frustrated using it. Don't think I hate Nokia and all, I even like Nokia (almost as much as I like Android), the only thing I hate about Nokia is Symbian OS (mentioned why), I just like joking around. (The owner of this comment has a name now :D, with all the respect for Nokia and Android and high disrespect for Apple :) )

No matter at present samsung is doing good but it is for sure that in another 2to3 years samsung users will switch back to Nokia because of samsungs poor quality phones whic don last for 2years without any repair and a 100% battery wearout. How many of samsung users are using 1year old battery and its still workin fine? My samsung phone started to give problems in 1.5years of usage. Signal suddenly drops to zero while speakin and call disconnects, battery backup has reduced by 60%. My nokia is a masterpiece whic still works fine even it s 2 year old and no battery replacement, dropped it many times. Nokia is known for its durability and build quality and now atleast with severe loss in market share nokia is working more on quality.
