There will come a time when the market of Andriod will be saturated due not one but many mobile company uses the same OS. And when that happens, another OS will emerge that people will ought to say the same thing your saying now. And not against Andriod, but since your talking about the future, might as well consider a new mobile OS will emerge. :)

Great phone but its not the fastest in the market they took too long to release it while the iphone has already introduced two phones one with pantent issues with nokia in which case nokia won the pantent against iphone but lets wait and see how it will perfom against other phones in the market

Nokia N9 is sure as hell the coolest phone in the world
Nokia N9 will last many years and still wíll be the most beauytful phone in the world.
Just buy it and have fun for 5 years to come.

Nokia n9 is a smart looking phone. those that are worried about the apps.. dont worry b'coz Nokia n9 can run both android and ISO apps.. :) what could me more cool than that. Can android do that? NO! multitasking is jst grate on this phone, haven't used but seen in videos.. thos that are panning to buy it i highly recommended you buy it.

AD, 11 Sep 2011Guys, no one knows still whether N9??? Meego???? supports for applications of what... how etc.... morePrecisely,battery life is one the main reasons why I dont choose Samsung/android. The other is samsung 's durability issue( personal experience too). 3rd is security level. That's why many corporate sector still use Blackberry.
If that case, better get a laptop/netbook for same price/cheaper,can last longer(3 to 5 years), larger screen, can do more computing related stuff on it. Plus faster 3G internet speed at cheaper rates, in my country mobile internet speed is slower & rates more expensive.

Because the Neo needs almost 2 minutes to boot this NOT meaning that all the Android phones are slow!! You must admit, and everybody must admit the FACT, that Android is the future! :) It's sad that Nokia abandoned Meego. Meego could be a real rival to Android.

Guys, no one knows still whether N9??? Meego???? supports for applications of what... how etc... it is still in empty space like ghost!!! I am sharing my true experince with Android OS. Used to play with Androied with Acer, now using Galaxy S2,- the OS is amazing!!! There is nothing you can say "you cannot do with android". I am in FMCG business. My SGS2 with Android Gbird actually helping me to inmprove my efficiency while visiting markets than a tablet PC. How, it supports all type office documents. I can run Skype both chat mode and video mode. I can scan bar codes to verify my product identity. I can share my sales details in a second with my mother server through sync. I can upload sales order to the system so... more efficient customer service... this is just a pinch of it how android supports me. It is not pushmail like in Brackberry. It is real time sync. Whatelse you want? Even I book my flight via my mobile with Android using trip advisor. The world has turned around by Android.... if you are truly familier with. I have never enjoyed convenience like this ever in my life! Thanks to Android and the super fast Galaxy S2 - 1.2 D-Core. Batarry is dieing fast - in 12 hrs.... what else you can expect with such a plenty of applications...? can laptop battery works more than 6 hrs? My SG S2 with Android is much flexible than a laptop. This is my hands on experience. Not a review please.

yes maemo was left by nokia and meego too will be left if it doesn't have successful selling wherever it launches because nokia has bet on wp7. But i still feel n9 will get success. Because almost all tech site which had their hands on this device declared it amazing in terms of design and functionality, os, speed etc (some even said iphone killer - for that we need to wait and watch) but less than ios, android - sg2, sensation, optimus 3d etc in terms of applications, dual core, 3d, etc. And most of the people if not all, watching it's videos on youtube will definately get attracted. Even if nokia leaves meego, it will be supported by linux and meego community as it is an open platform.
Maemo community is still running.

android is where once symbain was. Geeks are interested in it and it has the gaint GOOGLE's support, i think it will leave apple ios behind next year but it all depends upon the performance of n9 and iphone5. If n9 gets hit, then some geeks and developers will turn to meego as it is easier to create for meego than android. (son meego is more like daddy linux than son android - just kidding, no offence)

This mobile is amazing but the only problem is that it doesn't support whats App...
