Great piece Nokia. Keep up the good work. Not sure why you will not continue making such a great device but going with WP7 instead.
nikhil, 22 Aug 2011Nope dude.. its not available in india and usa... dont know wat nokia wants to prove...'we are not going to release Nokia N9 in U.S. , U.K. , India & Australia ' . Who said this ??
Hard to believe but said by Nokia CEO (S.Elop) .
hijazi, 22 Aug 2011this beautiful phone lacks two important things : card slot and radio , so nokia please take care . Just read this
1st It has all the hardwares you need to listen radio , only software is needed . That can be installed at any time .
2nd it has ' 64 GB inbuilt memory ' read again it has ' 64 GB inbuilt memory ' . 64GB is more than enough for any smartphone in this earth . None other smartphone have 64 GB . So why waste your money on expensive memory cards .
i think its really exclusive for new generation but if the Market price would reasonable for all then its gonna be one of the best popular cell phone of the world...
i would also card slot and radio,so nokia please take care of this small things.

Lighten up, its just a phone...there'd always be new ones coming out in the next couple of months...its a fact.
I noticed there is no card slot for this model, too bad though...just when Nokia finally upgraded its processor chip, it downgrades on its features (lack of micro-SD support) =(

There will be no next version of N9. This is the last of its kind so for those wishing it has more features added in, this phone is not for you. Go buy a phone that fits your needs exactly.
That deal with MS meant this will not be pushed by Nokia anymore hence the lack of certain features that would have made it an easier sell. But will it stop people from buying it? I think not. I for one will still buy it in Magenta because I'm not apps crazy like some people. The included apps is just about all I need.
I reckon this phone was concocted to be an iPhone competitor (i.e., not much more than a Nokia version of the iPhone), and you can tell by the emphasis on the design, the shape and size, and the exclusive OS. But then it would seem Nokia got cold feet when Microsoft waved some dough at them, and abandoned the device. I've no doubt it must be a nice phone, from what the characteristics say, but I think it will suffer from lack of support on the part of Nokia and an off-putting and - let's face it - undeservedly high price tag.
This WP7 OS move will make or break Nokia, and if the latter happens, everyone will look to the N9 as the example of "what might have been".
