There will be no next version of N9. This is the last of its kind so for those wishing it has more features added in, this phone is not for you. Go buy a phone that fits your needs exactly.
That deal with MS meant this will not be pushed by Nokia anymore hence the lack of certain features that would have made it an easier sell. But will it stop people from buying it? I think not. I for one will still buy it in Magenta because I'm not apps crazy like some people. The included apps is just about all I need.
I reckon this phone was concocted to be an iPhone competitor (i.e., not much more than a Nokia version of the iPhone), and you can tell by the emphasis on the design, the shape and size, and the exclusive OS. But then it would seem Nokia got cold feet when Microsoft waved some dough at them, and abandoned the device. I've no doubt it must be a nice phone, from what the characteristics say, but I think it will suffer from lack of support on the part of Nokia and an off-putting and - let's face it - undeservedly high price tag.
This WP7 OS move will make or break Nokia, and if the latter happens, everyone will look to the N9 as the example of "what might have been".
k, 21 Aug 2011Why does it not support radio, very surprisingbecoz there are new software lounch if you have listing radio you can download internet radio and you can listing it and enjoy......
....Lets hope Nokia N9 next version comes with SD card slot and strong Flash support to keep all Nokia fans smile again , ..
not with this version
AnonD-12379, 21 Aug 2011Think again N8 12 mega pixels with carl zeiss autofocus lens and xeon flash . N9 8.1 mega pixe... moreIt doesn't matter whether a mobile has 12 MP/5 MP/3.1 MP. How best the quality of the colors are reproduced is important.
Nokia phones are well known for Cameras. Nothing more than that. It is a holy shit............
If you want a real smart phone choose Android phone.
How can anybody rely on a phone which is not yet released with a OS, on which no user experience is avaialbe???????????
Wait atleast for 3 months after the N9 release, based on the original reviews not the false reviews we can dare to buy the costly phone.
can anyone tell me whether it supports adobe flash player 10.1 or above thank u.
i am looking for a complete smartphone. N9, no radio? Oh so sad, you are out of my choice..
Why is RADIO not included as one of the features? Let the next edition of the N9 include radio. It is a useful medium for news.
