This sept hitting tusunami in smartphone world. coz n9 is released on sept i wish 2 n9:-) such a great phone . Plz upgrade 1ghz to dual core processer and camera

This is exactly why I prefer Nokia. Even the N9 will have much better support. I am so excited to get one! :)

I ever used N900 6 months ago before then moved to Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc with its Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread.
Arc surpassed N900 almost in every aspect, except for my regular user like me, is the multi tasking feature. It is absolutely unbeatable by any smartphones nowdays.
And now, after read the first look review, N9 definetly is the one from Nokia I am waiting most...
Just upgrade the camera and the CPU to dual core, then N9 will beats all smartphones...

The only downgrade is the camera module, 12MP on the N8 to the 8MP but it is still a very good and capable camera. The processor is better (1Ghz vs 680mhz), better RAM (1GB vs 256MB), a much better OS - leaps and bounds in front of any other available at the moment, better display, better casing, better overall experience.

Nokia has the best support in the business, obviously N9 has pretty DAMN good design and hardware (1GB RAM, decent processor, probably very good camera). After all the best overall phones wins the competition. If Nokia keep developing MeeGo and provides top-nocht support and updates as usual, this phone is already one of the best out there for sure! After superior reviews of N9 all around the web one think is for sure - it has the charisma to be a best celler and a winner. Dont forget this is the first try of Nokia in this kind of smartphones (non symbian OS), I cant imagine what's next. Its up to Nokia from now on...

Something like SGS II fails pretty spectacularly on all those fronts. It can't actually run those cores on full speed more than short bursts, it kills the battery and the interface still doesn't look quite as smooth and beautiful as on N9

samsung no matter wich model is out of the race. they have a practically non-existent service, it takes years to repair a samsung no matter what device because service have no basically spare parts to replace: lcd panels,acumulators,plastic shell components. to repair any samsung in any country it's a nightmare. acumulators are rubbish at samsung, cameras are very low compared to any nokia camera and price is dropping at 2nd hand at a few bucks, no matter how much it cost brand new. SO NO SAMSUNG AGAIN FOR ME.
