Nokia N9 is the best...nobody can deny it...the UI is so silky smooth even on a proto...Nokia is back with a bank....and Android is kinda old and i am bored with the same looking interface...there may be themes and launchers available but the ultimate experience will be same same...i doubt about success about nokia-wp7 but meego will be surely be a success
Anonymous, 22 Jul 2011nokia i am so sorry for you .. you were once a king now your future is uncertain ,apple is now... morehmm are you a fortune teller? are you? haha.. how can you predict all this thing? :) dont be so rubbish about nokia, or maybe your just hater so pls stay away from this comment section of n9, your opinion is not welcome.
balamurugan, 22 Jul 2011do you think this mobile is worth N9 1. Weight 135 g little bit more 2. AMOLED only ( ... moreFlash is a dying software whereas HTML5 is taking over. Even so, you can port Flash Player from N900 to N9. MeeGO OS is targeted for people who wants to mess around with the OS. It's not aimed for regular customers who don't know much about programming, phones...etc, you get the idea.
MyZ, 22 Jul 2011Okay, let me make this straight.
The Nokia N9 would be a blockbuster hit ie 'IF' it was relea... moreagree!
nokia, you're way out of the race...
no more novel inventions.. so disappointing...
so sad to see your next flagship unit wont be having a red carpet welcome...
everytime i pass a nokia only store, it's as if im passing by a funeral or something with no one's visiting...tsk tsk tsk
balamurugan, 22 Jul 2011do you think this mobile is worth N9
1. Weight 135 g little bit more
2. AMOLED only ( ... moreAs most have said, the N9 screen looks as good if not better than SGS II. It uses CBD tech that nobody else has.
This phone comes with 64 Gb of memory. 64 Gb!!! Who needs a memory card, pretty much every other phone has less mem even with the biggest available (& supported) 32Gb cards.
N9 actually has bluetooth 4.0, so the 3.0 is old one.
It also has FM transmitter & receiver chip.
N900 had the best codec support out there, because it supports all codecs that linux does. I bet N9 is the same.
I could go on, but I guess that makes a point about the accuracy of your post...
nokia i am so sorry for you .. you were once a king now your future is uncertain ,apple is now the king and is now setting the trend in the cellphone wold .. what happened nokia to be in this sorry state?.. this n9 is dead and already old, looking at its specs it has nothing new to offer.being left behind by samsung with its samsung galaxy class especially a monster of a phone the galaxy s2 , the experia class of sony ericson , lg of its optimus class and the 3d class ,htc with its desire class . its android and apple ios battle ,everything else is just a side show , nokia is betting on the windows7 os well its a lost cause the fast paced growth of the 2 os (android and ios) and its support market(itunes, android market) and the new phones being develop ( i will not be suprised if a few years from now we will be using hologram on our cellphones he he he) nokia your extinction is getting near hope you do about it , here is the thing if nokia will join the android side (its the only side they can join cause apple have sole rights for the ios) it may tip the balance favorably to the android world there is still hope the question is nokia willing to admit its mistake and that they have miss the bus on the android platform long ago there is still time nokia
Nokia always failed to full fill the taste of customers. Nokia N9 also can't reach the range of Android & Apple iphone
still crazy about this beast.. Is it confirmed that the blue wont come in 64 GB? I need the blue but with 64 GB.. Great phone Nokia...
balamurugan, 22 Jul 2011do you think this mobile is worth N9 1. Weight 135 g little bit more 2. AMOLED only ( ... moreto Balamuragan whatever: Really? Copy pasting the same post over and over again? We already explained twice why your arguments are incorrect. N9 is awesome.
do you think this mobile is worth N9
1. Weight 135 g little bit more
2. AMOLED only ( Latest technology is Super AMOLED Plus capacitive touchscreen )
3. display size 3.9 inches ( Latest Displace Size is 4.3 inches )
4. Not Extendable Memory no merory slot
5. HSDPA, 14.4 Mbps Only (Samsung I9100 Galaxy S II = HSDPA, 21 Mbps )
6. Bluetooth v2.1 only ( latest version 3 )
7. 8 MP camara only when N8 has a 12 MP camera
8. No Radio where els N8 has Stereo FM radio with RDS; FM transmitter
9. Micro sim card support only you have to cut the simcard where after cutting you cannot use it on other mobiles still now there is no adopter for micro simcard it is a stupid idea.
10. composite TV Video out only, where els N8 has a HDMI with Dolby Digital Plus sound.
11. No DivX and XviD format support where els N8 has DivX and XviD format support
12. No Flash Lite v4.0 where els N8 has Flash Lite v4.0 Support.

No more added advantage
No idea about MeeGo OS, v1.2 Harmattan
price not available
Dont know there will be external 3rd party plugins and applications for MeeGo OS, v1.2 Harmattan. ( dont belive OVI it is dam waste compared to Android Market and iphone stores )
I dont know whether it will support Youtube without Flash
arham, 21 Jul 2011can we compare mego OS with ANDROID??? which one is better MEGO or ANDROID??Android is an ever growing Industry, while meego is an infant at deathbed! Nokia moving to Windows market doesnt feel like fortune time for Meego! But N9 is the phone we have been all waiting for, and hope Nokia wont disappoint us by shutting down the meego market!
Okay, let me make this straight.
The Nokia N9 would be a blockbuster hit ie 'IF' it was released at the time of the Nokia N8.
Look at the competition.
The Samsung Galaxy S II and the Iphone 4 and the LG Optimus 2X.
Look at these phones, they are well build same priced smart phones.
The Nokia N9 is a superb phone, but, the only problem is that it cannot compete with the growing market and better hardware and software improvements that is coming into the Samsung and Apple mobile phones.
The many problem is the lack of processor cores, ie, Dual-core processor.
Its not like everyone needs it but for the people who *WANT* to be technologically updated, this would just put them back.
I love the Nokia smartphone range, well built and really classy feeling.
But common, look at the OS, horrible, okay maybe the harmattan maybe better, but not as good as its competitors.
Choose your smartphone according to what you do.
Anyways, hope you like my comment.
qrty, 21 Jul 2011Damn, I'm suffering for this N9, every day, every night... And September never comes!!!!If you are in Australia, your suffer will be ended by end of August, :D
