Most users mainly use a few apps, and those are working great on the N9. Not everyone buys hundreds of apps. I did that the first time I got an iPad, but haven't bothered ever since. I use fb, twitter, Skype, the web, maps, thats it.

I just watched a video from youtube about the N9. The swipe ul is innovative. I hope they patent it. In the video there were also about 20 apps in the background and still Angry Birds was fast as hell. It was in the game in a second or under with 20 apps and the game still worked faster than I have seen in any phone. Faster than Optimus 2X.

It is far too late in the smartphone market to introduce a new OS. They should have introduced the Meego OS way back when the iPhone 3GS was just out.
Introducing a single core 1Ghz phone with a brand new OS is simply unstrategic and stupid at this time. Most Androids and iOS devices are moving onto dual core processors with way more developed operating systems given they had a few years head start with constant firmware updates.

meego os, v1.2 harmattan(sounds like android 1.5 :d).
good start nokia ...(finally after loosing market :d)
keep it up after fixing of 1000 bugs in coming decade may be it can be compared to android 2.3(but that time android 7.0 will be lounched :d).

@ this meego device is awesome.
and can play all android apps on it !! so that will be a big plus besides its meego OS

Polycarbonate is one of the materials used in the making of bulletproof glass. So N9 together with it's awesome UI is now the best in the market in term of hardware & software. The best part, don't need to hold in certain way or using a 'bumper' to make a simple call.

if you have a very limited app in your market then what's the point?
if you want camera and video then go for N8...but believe me...this phone is a real crap...

what ever they do, they can not compete with iphone. Nokia is nokia no change, thier OVi store is very very very weak and the application is limited there. lots of companies tries to copy iphone but they failed including nokia.
