About the CPU thing, imo the faster the better! I m not talking about two months from now but I am taking about a year from now. There will be a higher number of devices with better cpu speed and probably even better than dual cores and developers will start focusing on better quality apps, and optimized more for latest devices.
About the screen, well I haven't read what gsm arena wrote about the n9 screen, you might be right on that! =) About the OS, well ye i m completely biased. I liked maemo on the n900 and i was waiting eagerly for meego but now meego has to compete with android and ios which are much more mature! You must also take into account that there are alot of manufacturers producing devices with android and nokia is going to produce only this device with the meego os (correct me if i'm wrong!)

The n9 is going to be supported fully. It would run all apps made for subsequent symbian device.

If you're of the opinion that a faster processor is always better then it isn't worth the debate. Super amoled is no better than CBAmoled. Infact, the n9 screen is better than the sII screen as it has a higher pixel density. Gsmarena themselves said it to be the best mobile display ever. Android. . . depends on your orientation. I prefer symbian. Someone else could prefer meego. Some wp7.

Than Elop came with his bullshit that he is going to focus on windows mobile rather than meego and personally, I don t want to buy a device that is not going to be supported fully such as android devices for example. I decided to buy the best mobile phone at the moment which is the SGS 2 and when nokia announced the n9, i was still intrigued. Still I was disappointed with the specs -.- - Nokia N9> SGS 2? rly? Three words: Dual Core, Super Amoled + and Android! I know atm dual core devices are not utilizing their full potential but they are at least future proof! This phone should have been released in 2010 and not in 2011. 2011 is the year of dual cores -.- However I still have to give credit to Nokia for the design and looks of this phone! It looks superb! Still I wish nokia will be successful with this phone in order to bring more competition in the market! Cheers! =)

Its good in look but i thing it may more cute if its design as x7 , camera 8MP auto focus is good i expect another one with 12 MP auto focus from nokia other than N8

[deleted post]Quite frankly it's obvious you've never or barely used any Nokia phones before. News flash, Nokia is know THROUGHOUT the world for using durable components for their mobile phones.
So yeah, it's "just plastic" that can withstand far more drops, hits and shocks than any other phones out there.

An A8 processor? there's already a A9 processor in the market..
Polycarbonate? still a plastic material.
And for the price tag? let's see who's gonna buy a late technology for a high pricetag.
