The CPU of N9 is not faster than Samsung Galaxy I9000 S but it is same as Samsung Galaxy I9003 SL
Pattom Rajesh, 07 Jul 2011Now, they threw away fixed focus and got in the "old" auto focus :-)...And bonus...?... moreWell i ve used nokia 3500 5130 6303 and currently using 5235 and i never used the radio in all these phones i never was in need of radio in the phones it hardly matters if it has radio or not and you guys just dont like n9 cos it dont ve radio eh utter bullshit.. It sounds so cheap mann lol
It has support for FM TXRX (FM radio receiver/transmitter) in hardware. There is no software for it right now that’s all. So it may become available later on. (Update: There is a FM TX/RX chip and the Receiver is confirmed working. However, there is no TX antenna in the N9 so the transmitter signal is too weak to work and 3.5mm socket / earphones cannot be used as an antenna)
so u shoul add FM RX/TX ( FM Receiver and transmitter ) since this still prototype , may be it will change future
Pattom Rajesh, 07 Jul 2011Now, they threw away fixed focus and got in the "old" auto focus :-)...And bonus...?... moreHi there, just to correct you, the device does have FM RX (receiver) so radio is not a problem.
[deleted post]The design of the galaxy was no coincidence, they deliberately copied the iphones trademark design. The success of the GI gave them the finance to make GII. Samsung is not innovative they just shove the whatever is the most powerful components on the market in there phones and make it work. They use this as a gimmick to rival there competition, just like all android phones - in a race to make the most powerful phone.
Nokia phones have always relied on innovation as their selling point. They don't make the same thing with more added grunt. They make something refreshing and innovative, and a genuine phone that makes superb phone calls. Furthermore Nokia's after sales service is superb. Nokia is continiously making updates even for devices that are more than 2 or 3 years old. There's even a service center in my city.
[deleted post]you know :-) dear i also hate samsung . i owned samsung OMNIA II 16gb , and my mobile stopped working without any reason i sent to samsung :( but my OMNIA dead :( and my all family pictures videos lost :( . never ever buy samsung device :(
Now, they threw away fixed focus and got in the "old" auto focus :-)...And bonus...?? No radio at all in this so called biggy device... Pathetic...
I want to buy this cellphone now !
It is amazing and i love the MeeGo UI, much better than Windows Phone !
AnonD-13125, 07 Jul 2011Oh..Gosh 93% interest...Then the phone comes out...Hype for some time...Than u realise Nokia ... moreHEY! who's forcing you to buy nokia??? stu..d! If you do not like N9 then STFO!looser!
finally something really smooth and innovative (user interface) from NOKIA. i think it was a huge mistake of mr elop to move to Windows Phone 7 with NOKIA, instead of suporting this N9 model and platform. maybe the market will surprise mr elop's thinking.
N9 will be a really good stuff it looks.
Nokia n9 GSP life time free or has a duration time ? And GSP is Available to every countys ? Please answer me
Yes, Latest news from Nokia commits to N9 support, gives MeeGo a reprieve for 'years' to come and Elop confirm for Nokia will continue to support the N9 smartphone with software updates for years to come, flying in the face of reports that the handset is a low priority for the phone-maker.
Head of Portfolio Marketing at Nokia, tells a very different story. As far as he’s concerned, MeeGo and the N9 are still very much part of Nokia’s plans as it looks to regain market share lost to Android and the iPhone.
