Not really, sailfish on n9 will make use of all n9 hardware since all the guys from Jolla worked on it to develop their sailfish OS, all testing were done on n9/950 as a developer device, even all demos of the software are still being showcased on the n9/950.
If they release a port for n9,100%will work on it not like that nitdroid that lacked a lot of features.The only disadvantage highlighted by guys from Jolla was that the device may run slow since sailfish is not it's native OS.
Can't wait to try sailfish in my n9... :-)

N9is one of the best Nokia has ever created. Have u atleast tried its ui? And for support thers community who takes care of most of the things. If u don't know much about n9 then gather some info about it. Don't just give ur negative statements. Like any other phones n9 also misses some features like skype vdo.. Same like iphone 5 misses a radio. Have u seen a swipe ui, and true multitasking feature in any other phone? This ui is now after two years, adapted and developed further by bb10. So please

A guy is working on on Tmo for my request. Lets see when does he comes out with results

Nikki, 22 Apr 2013Thanks :-) will try that..Having tried playing with that a bit, using 'normal', '2.4', and 'FFFFFF' for the settings makes it all more readable without truncating the names of too many apps.

The N9 is great, and MeeGo is great too. Too bad Nokia didn't go further with this OS. But that does make this phone a legend, even if it's still available.

AnonD-81316, 21 Apr 2013I own N9 black 16gb for a year. Never used Android&IOS. LOL!That is the reason for ur comment.. pls use all other OS.. then u will come to know how good N9 performs.. I don't mean ANDROID or IOS is waste.. but MeeGo has edge over them.. u get it compared live...
