actually these specs are nt correct after the deal b/w nokia and qualcomm nokia has undergrounded this model for reconfiguring it with a amazing package,
such as a 1.4ghz processor,
1gb ram and 1.5gb rom,
64gb internal flash memory,
with intergration of html 5,
meego os,
dnis integration over music,
4.2 inches touch display and no querty.

HTCs are good it just needs windows 7

I really don`t think that the n9 will get a 12mp camera, because that would ruin their n8 sales, personally I think a 8mp camera and 4 inch display and 1+ ghz processor (1 or 1,5) 64gb of storage seems a bit to much to me but could be possible.
If nokia want`s MeeGo to be a succes they gonna have to make the first MeeGo phone a Super Phone, with the best specs out there on the moment. So that it draws much attention and lot`s of people will buy the phone because it is an revolutionary phone. (like they did with the n95)
I am still waiting for the N9 so I hope it will come out soon!
In the mean time , I`ll just have to survive with my old n82

im so disapponted if dis is the unit to take over for N900. 8ts mis-engineered, totally.
the slider mechanism from N97 shud b written into history as braindamaged, and here it comes again??? Why not modify the perfect silent firm and comfortable slider from N900, instead of the BANG fingerslapping slider from one of the worst fones ever made, N97?
change to android with full flash support, or keep the N900 til someone makes a meego linux fone wit keyboard and a practical usable slider mechanism?
I open and close the keyboard soooo many times per hour of the day, and i cant even open a N97 once a day, its too painful both for he mind nd the fingers, Pls nokia, u hav to see that this sliders just arent practical in any way! we dont nid the screen to tilt up, anyone hu have used both N97 and N900 knows the painfullness and useless flipup, y dont admit it was a mistake and move on?

The first nokia meego will be a tablet like ipad that's what i heard,so this n9 if it's a phone will released after nokia tab is out someday in 2011...how long we have to wait for this n9 to be real..2012? 2013????

N9 quite like cheating phone when... morewinmo is all fcked up. Unless you know how to boot Android or WinPho7 on HD2 or I'll just suggest Desire HD or HD7 over it.
Not to forget onscreen keyboard is no match of a hardware keyboard and in document editing, the hardware keyboard proves to be even more vital because on screen keyboard will restricted the screen estate. So if you suggest HTC's phone, I guess Desire Z is the nearest alternative. Still, I think that the E7 and N9 do have their advantage (like the slide and tile screen and the virtual RAM capability of S^3). It's all down to which feature are the most important to the user and brand loyalty.

well, it looks like users must choose between N8, N9 and E7
N9 quite like cheating phone when compared to HTC HD2 , both equipped only with 5MP camera but HTC HD2 got bigger screen and Office Editor while N9 only have Document Viewer. What a Low.
Buy HTC HD2 , recommend

Anonymous, 09 Nov 2010Those specs probably aren't true because the screen resoloution wouldn't be that high the phon... morewhat do you mean the screen resolution is too high? It is the same as the 3.5 inch on the N900 which was released a year ago.

Get real.Actually, his specs might be pretty right.
I've got these facts confirmed from an unknown source within nokia corporation:
1: The phone will use a dual led 12 MP camera.
2: The phone won't be using a snapdragon processor so an A8 cortex 1GHz processor is not unlikely.
3: The screen will be a 4" one.
The only things I actually doubt about his specs is the resolution of 1200/720 oled and the battery of 1320mAh. When the N97 uses 1500mAh and they have gotten so many complains about the n900s poor battery life. Why would they use the same battery then on a more powerful device? Makes no sence to me.
