Anonymous, 26 Aug 2010i hope to get a wi - fi hot spotOS not gonna be Symbian... MEGOO !!!
the processor can't possibly be snapdragon, as intel and nokia work together on meego, and why would intel agree to a competitor's processor?
Anonymous, 25 Aug 2010Nokia stills far away from apple and the Iphone 4g, this phone record less frames per second, ... moreWho said this phone don't have digital compass for maps? N8 does also...Your creditability really goes in the $hithole when you talk about things w/o at least doin some research on it
celladik, 25 Aug 2010I think he/she wants to say "outdated"Obviously, i know what he meant. I wanted him to justify his logic.
Nokia stills far away from apple and the Iphone 4g, this phone record less frames per second, it doesn't have the external noice reduction for calls, it does not have compass for the maps, it displays less pixeles than the iphone, and almost all the companies creates aplications for Iphone like travel personal information, espn games and tv live. And of course the Iphone 4g looks much more better than the nokia's phones.
r 3 b 3 l, 25 Aug 2010My learned friend, would you please Define the word dated?I think he/she wants to say "outdated"
I heard that its OS will be Meego and not Symbian.
Does anyone know how true is that?
Nokia n9 ll b based on meego OS,intel and nokia is working together for this.
Actually, the OS for the N9 is MeeGo, not Symbian^3. Hopefully, Nokia will make MeeGo the new flagship OS. Symbian is good, but it's terribly dated.
ohyesmmtnx, 22 Aug 2010Thought it's going to be MEEGO?! And 8MP?! Could you just stop it with the horshit and just bu... moreTry to be a little rational.
Firstly, its meego.
Would you buy this phone if it had the n8 camera and was 18mm thick? Yes or no? Mobile manufacturers make phones neither so they can brag at being the best nor so you can. They make them to sell them. What if this phone had all the features of the n8 plus more, was just as slim and cost 1000euros. Would you buy it?
You don't expect every new model to improve on every previous model in every aspect. Thats why we have line ups and target audiences. The n8 is a media minded gadget. This model looks to me like a pocket pc. Business oriented if you may.
Also, you shouldn't expect every model to meet your needs. Its not like your gonna buy all of them. There are 7billion people in the world. Every phone has its audience. If you don't like the specs, move on. You can only criticize a phone based on price/features ratios.
There is no such thing as outdated. Infrared was invented decades ago. Till this day, tv remotes still make use of it
