GSMArena doesn't have the whole reliable specs of this phone, so this is the cause they mentioned wrong things, such as the name. Of course this is NOT the N9 device. This will be the E7, or the N8 Pro device.

What is it with Nokia and their l@me@ss screen resolution? And why do they keep insisting on the boring-as-hell-outdated-POC symbian os?? Pathetic!

Its N8-01 because its gonna run on Symbian^3 plus it makes sense that if it is gonna be running on the OS then it should be a N8 variation because thats the Last of Nseries running on Symbian^3 :) Plus it cant be E7 because the successor of the N97 wouldnt just jump series like that its illogical to the Nokia naming scheme...

Wrong OS. N9 will come with
MeeGo which will be officially released October 2010. Nokia has all ready stated that high end smart phones will be running MeeGo; N9 will come Q1 2011 months after the first MeeGo release.

this will be the E7, its been at least half confirmed at nokia conversations, there is a recent blog or page that states the next E series device will be like .... and describe very similar looks and hardware/software that this phone has.
i cant wait to see what N9 would be if this is so thin and feature packed, not to forget a 4inch AMOLED is very rare coming from nokia

Its n9? How the spec is lower than n8???? I though n9 will be meego,and n8 is the last nseries phone with symbian os. Now im confused...

Would definitely be valuable to know if this model sports a built-in magnetometer (hardware compass).
Nokia does not allways volunteer this information.
