I truly love this phone .it is a pleasure to use and such a joy just to hold and look at. I have had Android phones in the past and have found them OK but not for me . I have always been a loyal Nokia supporter and always will be. I just wish they weren't so quick to bin meego

check how responsive sailfish is in a old hardware.. So it will run smooth and good in our n9 if ported....

loolla, 20 Mar 2013i think its great phone but it seem that there is a bettry problems, i have to recharge every ... moreOnce try hardreset if it dint help flash ur device. Battery will function good.. Because getting 3-5hrs is abnormal.. Try that.. Or have a look in to any forum abt this issue...

From what I see this is an awesome piece of hardware with a brilliant finish. It's a shame that Nokia stopped supporting this platform. I'm considering buying one of them (though I'm happy with my HTC)because I consider this phone (if I find one) as a rare piece of technology that I'd like to keep

U are sad abt the loudspeaker performance.. Just have a look into any android smartphone user opinion in gsm arena, they face problems in both os and hardware.. There everything looks superior to our device hardware but think abt the performance and battery backup.. Here many N9 users are also facing some problems with their devices.. Compared to those this may not look like a big issue.. Feel happy that u r having a completely diff phone running different os with out too many lag.. Even my friends S3 hagh but not my N9.. Also i too have used other platform devices in-between. But i was forced to get back to this unicorn.. This still stays fluid and strong... Just enjoy to be a n9 user.. Pls forgive me if this is not upto ur acceptance..

I have taken it back to the shop and th... moreThe speaker on the N9 just isn't very loud - you might have noticed from the review on here, which called it 'Below Average'. However, with it set to max volume I can't say I have trouble hearing it in a pocket or bag.
The contract, though... well, always read what you sign up for.

Does anyone have difficulty hearing their 'phone ring? I have taken it back to the shop and they agree the sound is not very loud but cannot do anything about it. Therefore its about as useful as a chocolate teapot. Very dsisappointed and angry I have to keep it for the whole time I am signed up. They also tricked me in signing into the cost of making calls a dollar a minute. Too expensive to use to make calls and cannot hear when anyone 'phones me. The worst 'phone I have ever had. Absolute rubbish.

I know for some users it maybe difficult to understand the brilliance of such once in a life device but truly this is the difference between a Ferrari Ezno and a Bugatti Super sport insight of speed, so yes we can't make calls with the front facing camera but it is your jobe to rally all your N9 troops together and make Nokia feel our despair when such a vital programme isn't functioning as we would like, and yes the unicorn N9 is beauty among all beasts but yet non can compare, if you facing difficulties with your handset please download Nokia suit and flash again and your problem should go a way. So yes for once lets all bring about change because having this handset makes you a pioneer, Nokia needs to hear our voices so that change can become a reality and those of you who face any problems please post them here because am pretty show it will be answered because we care!!

Here the 16GB is about 380 and the 64GB is over 600 euro... My 16GB N9 Black was about 350 euro last summer (June).

Since then not interested in anny other device!
