Any idea how to download What's App? or there is absolutely no What's App for N9 until today November 2012? Somebody please help.

all are being right and said the nokia N9 is once in a lifetime to keep. i've had the piece the 64gb blk one i hand it to my bro when take my vacation to my home country. at first we had a hard time connecting to the wifi tried many things, factory reset, hard reset all my downloaded apps were gone and tried also the hardware reset by removing the battery wire connections and after all nothing changes. our option is to change the security settings of the wifi router and there it is bingo. when we tried to download the necessary apps some of it are not in the store, front camera+video, fm radio, sigma player pro to name a few. i just noticed some malls and nokia stores here in the phils i am asking the beautiful N9 i have about to purchase 2 pcs of N9 cyan and magenta the answer was N9 is phased out and the sales people favorably recommends the lumias. why there are different available apps in every region middle east and south east asia are not, it should be almost the same. even the N9 have lesser apps here in the phils unlike in the mid east still my bro is loving the N9 and i'm missing the beautifully simply amazing N9. we hope jolla mobile, the community, meego and N9 fans will continue to support this N9piece. nokia you have to support JM it is your savior if you want differentiation get it back in your hands. build a new one with the same size but a 4" screen, 720p screen resolution up-to-date cpu and gpu, upgraded front and back camera, two version polycarbonate unibody for the mid user, and the titanuim unibody for the premium high end user. it is a dream only design but if nokia will build it and release globally nokia will regain the spot where they once was...aliechem shalom

now i solved the problem, when i removed the silicon protector it stops blinking, im a heavy internet user on my n9, maybe its having a hard time to breathe..

difficulty in installed software other than ovi store because it's use debian file. Most software comes with jar and sis file..

its easy to port apps from other os example instagram have been ported to meego (n9) even though there is no official app

Asdfghjkl, 04 Nov 2012Is there need to laminate the screen of N9 and the whole body...? Plz Plz replyno need any lamination,i tried many scratch test of my n9,no scratch at all.gorilla glass is strong.so dont spoil beauty of n9 by lamination.
but 1 more thing that i want 2 share wid u dat my friend samsung galaxy s3 glass got scratched wic is gorrilla glass2 wic is much thinner compare to n9 glass.and that whole body(plastic) replacement price of s3 is 6000INR.they r not providing any waranty 4 customer fault.shocking thing that my another friend met wid an accdnt and his n8 got damaged in backside but glass is not got any scratch.these r som real time example of mine.no need worry abt lamination.

I bought this phone almost an year ago. I bought it unlocked, so I paid the maximum price.
But I don't regret. It's amazing, and the Nokia Maps saved my life in foreign cities like Istanbul or Paris.
Pluses:
- Meegoo is much better than Windows or Android. It is most economical OS I ever used: the battery lasts about 7-8 days for normal phone use (in GSM mode, with no internet).
- I installed the following apps: a flashlight mode, a voice recorder, and a call recorder (for legal purposes). They were free, they work perfectly, and I personally don't need anything else.
- the Carl Zeiss lenses are simply great, the pics and videos are crystal clear. Excellent camera!
- Elegant design! The phone looks amazing,and all my partners are admiring it. It's a nice touch during the negotiations.
The only minus:
- at first, the phone was asking me again and again, if I want to open the internet connection (no, idiot, I DON'T. I need battery, not internet connection!) But the problem was solved after upgrading to Meegoo 1.3.
Tip:
If you want more battery life, keep the phone with the face down, on the table. Protect the screen from the sunlight.
Conclusion:
In my opinion, the Nokia N9 is superior to any other phone I used (iPhone, Sony Xperia, HTC, Samsung). It's a shame Nokia abandoned their own product, and adopted the inferior Microsoft Windows. But every empire must come to an end, I suppose, and we all pay for our mistakes.

Nokia n9 is a disappointment in the world of millenium phones. The specifications listed were not installed at all. Its like defrauding your consumers. No 3G video call, no yahoo messenger and whatsapp ready app. How do they want this phone to be enjoyed. Whacked men

No need for screen protector... gorilla glass is hard to scratch... keep N9 in naked pocket-- no problems.
