now i solved the problem, when i removed the silicon protector it stops blinking, im a heavy internet user on my n9, maybe its having a hard time to breathe..

difficulty in installed software other than ovi store because it's use debian file. Most software comes with jar and sis file..

Guys please help me, my n9 screen started to blink everytime i unlock it. It doesnt show the wallpaper but blank blinking screen, but swiping it makes it back to normal, what seems to be the problem? Help me guys and chsaqib

its easy to port apps from other os example instagram have been ported to meego (n9) even though there is no official app

Asdfghjkl, 04 Nov 2012Is there need to laminate the screen of N9 and the whole body...? Plz Plz replyno need any lamination,i tried many scratch test of my n9,no scratch at all.gorilla glass is strong.so dont spoil beauty of n9 by lamination.
but 1 more thing that i want 2 share wid u dat my friend samsung galaxy s3 glass got scratched wic is gorrilla glass2 wic is much thinner compare to n9 glass.and that whole body(plastic) replacement price of s3 is 6000INR.they r not providing any waranty 4 customer fault.shocking thing that my another friend met wid an accdnt and his n8 got damaged in backside but glass is not got any scratch.these r som real time example of mine.no need worry abt lamination.

I bought this phone almost an year ago. I bought it unlocked, so I paid the maximum price.
But I don't regret. It's amazing, and the Nokia Maps saved my life in foreign cities like Istanbul or Paris.
Pluses:
- Meegoo is much better than Windows or Android. It is most economical OS I ever used: the battery lasts about 7-8 days for normal phone use (in GSM mode, with no internet).
- I installed the following apps: a flashlight mode, a voice recorder, and a call recorder (for legal purposes). They were free, they work perfectly, and I personally don't need anything else.
- the Carl Zeiss lenses are simply great, the pics and videos are crystal clear. Excellent camera!
- Elegant design! The phone looks amazing,and all my partners are admiring it. It's a nice touch during the negotiations.
The only minus:
- at first, the phone was asking me again and again, if I want to open the internet connection (no, idiot, I DON'T. I need battery, not internet connection!) But the problem was solved after upgrading to Meegoo 1.3.
Tip:
If you want more battery life, keep the phone with the face down, on the table. Protect the screen from the sunlight.
Conclusion:
In my opinion, the Nokia N9 is superior to any other phone I used (iPhone, Sony Xperia, HTC, Samsung). It's a shame Nokia abandoned their own product, and adopted the inferior Microsoft Windows. But every empire must come to an end, I suppose, and we all pay for our mistakes.

Nokia n9 is a disappointment in the world of millenium phones. The specifications listed were not installed at all. Its like defrauding your consumers. No 3G video call, no yahoo messenger and whatsapp ready app. How do they want this phone to be enjoyed. Whacked men

No need for screen protector... gorilla glass is hard to scratch... keep N9 in naked pocket-- no problems.

Anonymous, 04 Nov 2012how do I download whatsup on this phone. i am unable to paste photos on facebook. this is a s... moreMy dear, all n9 users know how to upload facebook photos. who gave you this beast in your hand? like saqib i too request you not to spam here, instead please update your knowledge and research about this phone before putting some bashy posts.
Still, considering you as new user (or a kid), select any photo u want to upload, go to share button (third from bottom left) and u will find many sharing options. If you have activated facebook account on your n9 then it should reflect there too.
Now regarding whatsapp, just follow saqibs link provided below and install the same. You need PR1.2 or above version for that i guess. if u dont have it, just update it. Done..
