I am confused between N8 and N9.

Three month review:

Battery life: 2+ days on average. If streaming, 1 day.
WiFi: Excellent connectivity, home, coffee shop, etc. Connected to at least 20 hotspots with no problem. Browsing with Firefox or Opera very fast!
Swipe: absolutely the best UI out there. So nice to open/close apps, etc.
NAV: Awesome, to me, best part of owning a Nokia phone, no data xcn needed.
Build: solid, feels like a panzer. Gorilla glass strong.
Radio: better than my 5800. Holds cell cxn in known TMo deadspot where 5800 would drop.
Speed: fast UI, no lag.

Charging flap: took a while to get used to opening it.
Apps: Top 10-20 are fine, just not 10,000. But I'm not an apps guy.
Speakerphone: could be better.
Voice-dialing: Biggest weakness, no clean solution, miss this from Symbian.
Voice-to-text: use Google v2t, then cut and paste, needs better solution.
Overall: very happy with this phone, Meego is beautiful OS/UI. Bought for $325 from Ebay, using with $50/mo no-contract TMo. Very cost effective smart phone solution. Wish Jolla would provide updates for a fee.

Im using this phone now, very slow, buttons are flimsy and cheap feeling, charging flap is annoying as hell and breaks. WiFi hotspot doesn't support infrastructure mode so its useless and doesn't work with majority of devices. Doesn't work with some types of headphones, like apple ear pods. Front camera has horrid resolution and requires 3rd party apps to use, not even the built in Skype app can do video calling. Not sure if its my phone alone but to get through a day of very light use I'll have to charge it at least once (went from 100% to 85% in 15 mins with no open apps and the phone was locked and WiFi disabled) non replaceable battery, need to remove screen just to remove the battery.

I asked them same and they said it's available but made in china which is ok for me. I used n73 china made from 2008 to 2011 and still have and its working very fine.
Lets see what happen which one comes.

gunes, 31 Oct 2012can someone describe step by step how i can share music via bluetooth on my N9?For that u shld install qad file manager free version from ovi store.. In that browse to the file u wanna share via Bluetooth... Tap the file u will get share option.. Take care.

They went mall in ajman and they said i... moresorry man:-):) i dont have recipt of ma cell.:-):)but thing i knw dat ma dad wen 2 batuta mall,care for u,etc.:-):)but he also askd some other small shops nearer those malls so he got it from those shops.:-):)and 1 thing dat ma cell dont have any warranty.:made in china-):) so minus 3000inr:-):).
this means ur cell wic u asked is with warranty i guess.:or may be made in .....-):)another thing i got nokia bh-505 wic is available in those shops only so ma dad brought it from shops .:also tried to buy white nokia n9 of 64gb: searched many wer unfortunately i got it of black.:-):).wic is also superb.:-):.tell ur dad try to ask 3 to 4 shops of 64gb .:-):).if i got 2 knw wic shop ill inform u.:-):)ok

ruplee76, 29 Oct 2012even i bought mine from dubai, with initially pr.1.1 and later i got pr 1.2/1.3 in india, I do... morei agree with u,that is variant.:-):-):)the thing i told 2 buy having pr1.3 because no need to flash.:-):-:)ya u can try using navi firm but still again extra work.:-):-)i was telling to updated version because if e interested in dual booting in future then it is reduces work of flashing.:(if update tru ota den no problem)-):-)there are many variant are still not got pr1.3:-):) and finally da thing dat i am not at all interested in samsung,htc:-):).because i am true fan of nokia.:-):)(but not a fan of windows):-):):-):):-):).
