Had this phone for a year now, and i feel completely ripped off. sent in for repair 3 times, for battery going dead when 2/3 charge still indicated available, for faulty sensors which cause the screen to go blank during a call so you cannot hang up no matter how many times you jiggle the handset or press the on button to bring up the screen display, for the faulty earphone jack, for the faulty accelerometer, faulty parts seem to be all I can find.... and it screws up what a phone is essentially supposed to do well- make a phone call. It cannot do that properly. To hell with Nokia and their stupid MeeGo platform. Back to the drawing board you fools and make phones that can reliably MAKE PHONE CALLS!!!

jhunry, 17 Oct 2012N9 it is compatible for videocalling for skype to sony xperia?,pls. anyone answer my question ... moreSorry, the N9 doesn't videocall over Skype. Kinda annoying, as it has Skype and a front camera. It can videocall via GTalk if you need it.

go to settings/applications/manage applications/ check for updates-click top right corner (refresh button)
For those idiots who says no whatsapp for n9.. go..get this.

Rude boy, 17 Oct 2012dude m gonna buy a new one. how longer i should charge it for the first time, need your answer....Just normal charge. Just one thing you should be careful. Just complete the recharge cycle for 5 to 6 times. Means charge it completely and recharge it when battery is fully drained. Do it for 5 to 6 times. Its nature of lithium batteries. It will work on full capacity after these recharge cycles.

When I check over OTA, I d... moreYou can use Nokia ovi suite, the newest version is also for using and connecting your N9 with laptop or pc. I had to use nokia link first, but after updating nokia suite, it works for my N9 too.

I have a 64GB black N9 on PR 1.2. I had got it from Dubai to India. When I check over OTA, I dont see update for PR1.3 . Its been a long time and I wonder why am I not getting the update :-(
Can someone guide how to update via pc ? What to use Nokia Suite, or Nokia Software Updater ?
Also would like to know if there are any known problems like application incompatibility etc on upgrading to PR 1.3 ?

Whereas Lumia 800 is not entered in any rangking.
So N9 is better than Lumia 800. I would suggest you to go for N9.

Anonymous, 15 Oct 2012is it late for me to buy nokia n9 now?No it's not too late, the N9 is a very nice phone. Great design, good OS meego and still a pocketble device, it's not too big, neither too small. Perfect size and a good screen, and the phone is just a looker!

First of all N9 is way better than S2 in terms of everything except for apps, but who needs hundreds of thousand of apps? Anyway, it has whatsapp but is called wazapp.
