You can read N90's review from here:
Seems to be bad in the following areas:
1. Battery life (Less than a day)
2. No Vibration (A must in all the phones)
3. Slow processing speed (Failed most of the benchmars!)
3. Most Nokia Applications incompatible (!!!)
But definitely has the best DISPLAY and the best CAMERA!
it will cost a lot sim free. However the spec is similar (tho slightly better) than the SE K750. So im assuming it will cost around £50 on contract
It is confirmed to be officially launched in Malaysia on the 15th. As for the other countries, it will be by beginning Auguest or end July.
Singapore will see it on 23rd July.
The price is to be approximately 1380 Singapore Dollars, subject to foreign exchange rate.
I will update on the phone here daily till it is launched and when i get it on the first day.
The phone doen't seem to have radio included would have been nice if it was, neways ne idea when is it supposed to be launced in India??
To everyone who would like to know how the phone is like, I will be getting it immediately it appears on shelves and will do a summarized update right here!
Maxis would be launching N90 with a mobile plan starting this friday.
Singapore would see it anytime after this Friday even though Nokia confirmed 23rd. It could be earlier from other street shops. =)
Good thing I know dealers. Phew.
aaaah! this is such a nice phone but it cost mor than this laptop, will the price go down any time soon? plz reply sum1
this amazing device will be launch this 15/7/2005,have personaly try out the features of the phone, one things stands out from the rest,it really captures amazing pictures,no doubt about it,the only thing is doesn't have vibra function...two thumbs up for this invention by NOKIA
any details yet on a UK releae - I have heard the 15th July put around, but today the 02 store, Vodafone store and CPW have all said no release date yet - and if it is the 15th, they r running it a bit short!
itz a much better phone than 6260 n the sexiest one vch every hand want to hav
For info to Malaysian,
Nokia N90 is available in your country. But it is confirmed that whether is it offically lauched.
You should be taking good care of your phone instead of dropping it to smash the lens. But basically vibra was removed to reduce the possibility of the lens being faulty due to prolonged shock. Furthermore, vibra is usually implemented on the area near the speakerphone which in this case is on the camera module itself.
For everyone who wants to know when the phone will be released in Singapore, I have stated before, it will be out by 23rd July 2005. Nokia has called to confirm with me a few days back.
Dealers' rubbish saying it would be released in September is completely bullshit.
For those of you who are just guessing about vibration. It does not have vibration for sure. Check out the user manual for N90 that just posted by Nokia. http://nds1.nokia.com/phones/files/guides/Nokia_N90_UG_en.pdf
i see, dosent that mean it will be fragile so if you were to drop it, then the lense would smash?? isnt there any features to stop this kelv?
