N90 - one of the hybrid phones from the Nokia NSeries phones. N70, N91 and N90.
Knw what guys, before, i prefer N70 and realized that i want N91. But after reading the specifications, capabilities and others, I ended up loving and wanting the N90.
N90 is a hybrid phone with stunning Carl Zeiss optics that really enhances image and video capture even on low resolution camera engine at 2megapix. N90 can capture VHS (CIF) resolution that you can record to a VCD format. It has autofocus, stunning flash and awesome macro mode (close-up accuracy). What more can you ask for? look some reviews, N90 beats SEW800 and K750i in the imaging world.
It's true they said that it's quite heavy. 173g if i am correct. but look at the bright side, it's clam-shell form factor protects that phone's delicate parts such as the main LCD and keypads. Before, i hated clam-shell forms, but have realized this protective measure. I love N90!!!!! I want one! $650 here in my place. I will swap my N6680 and wait for the Finald release. It's more durable that any other mades.
weird question, but anyone know if you can clip this phone on your shirt pocket or back pocket? (like the keypad is in the pocket, the screen piece is out, so it doesn't fall out...) and will it go on standby or stay on?
This phone looks pretty peppy and good to me! Im actually concidering to myself to get this phone when my contract is up. I believe this phone is for a business man because your able to take quality pictures. I mean you got to admit you can't expect a phone like the motorola V220 to do good pictures for you. The only thing that i am concerned about is that for the past couple of phones like the 7610's phone program is not the greatest. Its not professional, colorful, nor handy. It is so slow that it laggs. Half the time you click on something, it takes average 3 seconds to load up. I just hope that that program from nokia does not appear on this phone. Otherwise, i don't see y this phone is not worth for its bucks. By the way expect this phone to be in the mid 400's......
Some people say bad things about this phone, but i think it will be one of the best of its kind, it has everything, exept vibration aparently... can sum 1 fill me in, preferably someone who has this phone...?
I wonder when the nokia people will begin selling this fone, they create every month 4 or 5 new models but no one´s new on the stores.
i really really really want to buy this phone but since you all say bad things about this phone, it makes me hesitate whether to buy it or not therefore...can someone give me an opinion...?
plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz as soon as possible..!
The N90 may be expensive but how can people like the Sonny Ericsson k750i more than this. This phone has far more capabilitis than the k750i. The camera is sharper and the video is better. It is a great smartphone. Sony Ericsson phones are good but I think that the symbian OS operating system and screen resolution is the difference between this phone and the k750i. This phone though could of done to have 30fps video instead of 15fps, since it would not of increased the cost and given it an even bigger advantage over it's main rivals.
hello i will like to buy this phone so please tell me ur mode of payment
sorry... $$800 american dollars..
$$$599 with 2 yr service agreement...
At least that's what is going to go on with Cingular.
I know that at Cingular, the retail cost is about 800.00 and with a two year service agreement it's gonna be probably 599.00 or around there.
that's interesting...i live in romania, and i can asure you all that nokia n90 is not for sale in store or blackmarket...maybe it's that balck hole of a brain of yours tudor...
the phone costs 720 euros in romania in store. on the black market it problably is 650 euros. it's a very very nice phone but i cannot afford such a high price for a phone. i wait until it is 300 euros - somewhere around Christmas! ans the 8800 is 920 euros - that's just sick! almost a thousand euros for a phone!!!
Sony? So far, SE only has 2 megapixel camera phones. Only xcute, Samsung, Motorola and LG have broken the 2mp border. xcute coming up with DV2 - 6mp. Samsung has its v770 - 7mp. That's FYI. And by the way, higher megapixel doesn't result in a better camera. For example, you can take a look at the comparison of pictures betweem K750i and S700i (from SE), and sometimes the latter can take sharper pictures even though they have 2mp and 1.3mp cameras respectively. This example shows how other elements in a camera also affect the picture quality - ie. in this case: the sensor (CMOS or CCD).
