Carl Zeiss lenses, are the best on the market. They provide the ability to sharply capture a depiction of the subject's detail.
- the ability to depict an image accurately, so that the straight lines of the subject become the straight lines in the photograph.
- the ability to block stray light, so that the subject's color can be captured faithfully and vividly. It's the best quality camera available and these lenses are in use by Sony's Cyber-Shot digital cameras.Well-done Nokia. You are a true leader.
wow...~ An upgrade of Nokia 6260 cool phone with good camera... thumb up for nokia.. but what happen to the infrared...? haha.. maybe there is no need for infrared anymore in the future... but the screen does not rotate at 270 degrees anymore...
plus.. when it is open.. the camera seems to be on the bottom of the phone..thus the phone is sitting at a weird angle.. but overall.. it is one phone that really really rectify the mistake of the Nokia 6260 that I am having now.. that is good camera... ^_^ hehe.. :P
heavy..and big size it is though.. not so good.. anyway...but i'll just close and eye about it, cause the features and performance could overwrite the it. Just hope the phone is not pricey... ^^ Way to go...! ^_^
double thumbs up nokia real good phone!!!! movie quality should be very good as well. for all those ppl interested in the new 416*352 pixel display if it has the same pixelations as the nokia 6230i that would make the screen 6 by 5 cm which is enormour making the width of the phone close to 6 or 7 cm and by looking at the actual size of the phone and screen the display would have to be even sharper than this. that quite franky is insanely good, by far the best on the market
A big phone yes, but still so tempting. The weight isnīt really an issue for me, at least I donīt think it will be. Canīt wait to get my hands on it. I bought the 6260 a few months ago and this would be a great update. The only things I wish the 6260 had is here. And all the important buttons are on the lower half and thatīs a big plus! No more awkward reaching for the screenside...
such a great phone, I was impressed by the screen display, but it's a big phone, isn't it >?
If someone is still wondering what the thing on the backside is, check the other pictures on this site. Canīt be that hard to search for information. Well.. it is the camera but it wonīt be on the backside when you carry the phone in youīre pocket, it turns on the top of the handset.
At last Nokia got a really good camera on on one of their phones. And a quality camera with real optics means bigger size and weight.. Isnīt Carl Zeiss optics used in the thinnest digital cameras, where the lens/zoom system moves inside the cameraīs body lengthwise? I was just wondering if the camera has even got an optical zoom...
one word: wow - this is what the nokia 6260 should have been, i cant bleev i was actually gonna buy that phone! nokia would've made me a sucker, hah, patience is a virtue, this phone's mine, oi FCC, hurry up and approve it.
i'm sorry samsung p850 is better just because it has 3mpx,it is smaller(96x47x22(26with upcam)) and lighter(115g).this is cool but too big too heavy if the camera could be removed it would be cool. love the screen though... also no stero speakers
can someone plz explain to me what the cameras from the other 2 n-series are like compared to this one is it just the fact it has a Carl Zeiss optics camera lens, whats the difference of having a Carl Zeiss optics lens to the ones?
this phone dont have FM Radio! the other 2 N Series have it.So im asking to y'all is this phone come with stereo speaker 4 the MP3? PLEASE,anyone who knows, reply.I need help 4rom u guys.please n TQ.
Do you want a phone or a camera ?
My 6630 kept losing network coverage due to dithering between GSM & 3G. Had to get rid of it in the end as I was losing too many calls !
Great.. it had loads of gadgets but what use is that if you lose calls. These are supposed to be phones primarily aren't they ?
Is this N90 going to be the same ?
If you want a decent digital camera buy a decent camera, not a compromise of camera & phone combined.
Also will this have the stupid tiny text fonts ?
With Sony S700 you can set larger fonts.
this phone looks great..but it weighs 173g....no man...that's too heavy for me..
nokia is simply unbelievable. when they said they were going to release 40 phones this year and concentrate on multimedia phones, they certainly weren't kidding. with the release of these new N-series phones they have certainly blown the rest of the mobile phone market away. what with 2MP cameras, 20X zoom, Carl Zeiss lenses, 4GB microdrives, high colour screens and visual FM radio and finally a whole lot more internal memory 30MB. I gues nokia really does listen. Even when they don't seem to. I say they should keep up the good work but they do have to work on their phone designs. The N91 is simply cute but they cud have made it look better.
To those who wonder if these phones have FM radio. Well, yes they all have stereo FM radios though they are called visual radio, this refers to a service that works through WiFi that allows you to see the artist and interact with the radio station. These function can of course be turned off and the phone used as a regular FM radio. For more in check out http://www.visualradio.com/1,121,,,383.html.
To all nokia fans expect more surprises before the end of this year. UP NOKIA!!!!!
huh!!!20x digital zoom!are you blind. its better than a digicam or handycam.just imagine 20x.2mp camera.then how much it will cost? im sure sony ericsson's w800 and k750 are left behind, there prices will sank down! but the only problem is that the durability of this unit, coz the 6260 has this problem the durability....i will just but a digicam with 7.1 mp in this case.
why is Nokia still using Symbian series 60? don't you guys know that series 60 is very vulnerable? as u guys know the hp virus only penerates Symbian series 60? why not upgrade to series 70 like sony erricson?
Nokia has just done the seemingly impossible. Turn non-nokia fans like me to huge fans with the N-series... This phone is a direct competitor to the new Samsung and Sony Ericsson and Siemens phones recently announced. Nokia proves that it will not be left behind in the competitive market that is rapidly expanding. This phone in really awesome, and is by far one of the few phones I have been this flabbergasted by(apart from Siemens SX1 and S700i in the past; both flagship phones in their time). Good job Nokia. Really impressive
