Maybe you haven't really tried the UPnP, it's great when viewing pictures, WIRELESSLY.
And it's using the infrared connection.
who uses infrared these days, stop finding stuff to complain about, wasting ur time and others
it can play wav files.
it's a gorgeus phone. the best ever had;
my next phone will be n93
I have tried latest phones from nokia, and i traded my nokia n91 to my sisters n90...hows that? hahaha!
i love my n90, i cannot afford to lose this phone...the features are great! especially the imaging, thanx to carl zeiss optics...
i havnt experience any problem with this phone, iv tried almost every phones made by nokia and for now the n90 is still the best (until n92-n93 is out in the market)
who cares about the weight and the bulkiness, what matters most is the feature and performance.
Go ahead people grab the n90!
Don't you know that with UPnP and infrared, you can use your phone as a remote control for computers and tv?
well nokia n 90 is awesome and it really good i like this mobile phome a lot and i like to have one.
it does not read wav file but it will convert to a file that nokia read so that means yes your songs will play on the n90 you could even grab the song from a cd.... this phone is ok. pretty much its all in one a phone, digital camera, video camera, mp3 player, ect.. its not the best phone but its a great phone... love it ....to all the filipino's stop saying
OH im filipino who cares just post a comment. ok mga pare
Hi all, i have purchased a Nokia N90 and im very impressed, yes it was slightly bigger than what i expected however its performance is better than any of my other handsets that i have ranging from p910i to mda-pro (o2-exec).
The Nokia Suite software is so easy to use and to use and there are no complicated "bits and bobs" to install, it simply does it for you.
Its lack of vibration and infra red is abit dissapointing but who the hell wants to use IR anyway, its like the floppy discs of a CD-rom! so out dated.
What i was impressed by is its auto focus, clip arts and movie editing software on the actual handset, along with quick and easy uploading of songs.
to top it all off it even has its own virus scanner for those nasty viruses some people find funny to send around and its fire wall is always active to which you can change from low-med-high.
its clever voice recognition system allows use for programmes as well as contacts and even better, you dont have to pre record them, like microsoft sam, the voice recognition programme recognises anything you say eg. a contact is named Adam, you press and hold down the VRS button and say Adam and it will do it, like any other you may think, well think again, its that clever it learns how you pronounce words to ensure its accurate everytime. other people can also use the system without having to pre record a voice tag.
Copying from and to the memory is also very quick, setting up hot keys on the handset is also easy to do, handset lock also on. Its an Amazing handset and id recomend to anyone.
i purchased mine from www.mobileshop.com and it was foc, super delivery time, e-mail me for a disscount code email@example.com
well done NOKIA
pleas say to if the nokia n90 support wav songs or not if any one now answer me pleas or i will die
I am filipino, and I personally wouldnt buy this. It doesn't even have inffrared! It looks like its so bulky, and even thought it doesnt have as much features as this one, you can get the Nokia 6260 (whichi saw P9000 at SM Dasmarinas)
i buy a bluotooth sony ericson 610A for nokia n90 but often disconected from base.
u know when u type a message u have 160 char then its 2nd message is there anything to stop that like in older nokias 6820 and all u can send up to 999 char i donno if i need anything
it had its day remember now theres better phones on the market with the same and more features for less size and money one example the 6280
Nokia N90 is still the best N-Series yet.

Nokia N90 has only a difference of P1,500 ($30) between the newly released Nokia N91 and Nokia N80. Despite of the oldness and aged Nokia N90, yet it still have a good value. I recommend this Phone to all buyers specially to Filipino Mobile Phone Enthusiasts.
The N90 still is the best from Nokia. The Design, The functionality...I used to own an N90...I changed it N70, N71, W800i, Motorola V3i, V3X...but I decided to go back to N90! Nothing still compares... I love this fon.
battery life does not support the features, but nice features though.camera is excellent prefer samsung phones hehehe
