Hi, can anyone comment on whether the small font used in the n90 is a problem for you?
ok.. you make up a very good point out there.. i agree with you.
To Haley, I mean that grey parts in the picture near the keyboard on sides.
The difference is (In case you do not see it) that people on the Nokia forum will of- course defend their phone when SE users intrude on their teritory (forum) and bad-talk the N90. But if you look at the SE K750 forum you will see very few N90 owners bad-talking their phone...why??? Because most N90 users do not care about K750. The K750 is a good phone, but most of us just do not care about it.
And as for the K750 being cheap...Compared to the N90 it is a cheap phone... What is the price of the SE K750? 400 - 500 USD (just a guess), while the N90 costs about 1000 USD. If someone calls the SE K750 phone a cheap phone compared to the N90 then the statement will be correct. Just as a Bird phone which costs 200 USD will be cheap compared to a SE K750.
to rune and invincible
if you guys says that SE bashing this phone means that this phone is torturing SE's fan, what about you guys saying that K750 is cheap phone and using old tech and not a symbian phone and bla bla bla? what does that implies to?
why don't you just ignore those who bash this phone? lolx..
I had great expectations for the phone, generally good but the font for messaging is tooo small!! I'd think an expensive phone like this would have at the very least the option of choosing different sizes of fonts. I also think having the silent mode is quite useless if there's no vibration alert.
every one thinks that sharps mobile phones are so good but they are crap they might have good camera and mp3 players but they dont have symbian os or unlimited videorecording if u want a cheap phone and take pictures with buy w800 or sharp 902 .
but if u want good phone with great features then u shoul buy the n90 ,,u can download every thing to symbian phone ,,dvd player infrared remote controll, gps a lot of games .
the nokia n90 is the better phone and u cant compare any sharp or se phone with it ..
Jess, while i do admit that the phone does not have vibration, please get your fact right about Singapore not having the N90 as one of the first in Asia. I am holding onto one now and you might want to check my blog for further details.
sharp 903 N90
camera 3.2 MP 2MP
talktime 4hrs 3hr
infa red port yes no
vibration yes no
data speed 384 kbps 236.8 kbps
Because of nokia's grasp on the market and advertising you think the N90 is the greatest why not read the stats first. Its main selling point is its camera but the sharp beats it hands down.
A lot of SE users are bad-talking the N90 on the Nokia forum. In my experience if people do not care about something they do not get involved. Since they do get involved I guess it is because they in one way see the N90 as a threat to their own phone and because they want to reasure themselves that they have bought the "best: phone.
We should realy be happy because of this as if means they do see the N90 as a very good phone, or they would not care enough to give remarks about the N90.
Oh, thanks for ur reply. So, what u were saying is, there is actually another new version of the N90 OS? Guess mine is the earlier version OS, since im one of the few who get the 1st batch phones in Malaysia.
Oh!!!What a nice brick!
Some of you say that this will be the best mpbile for 2005.
Well,my phone, which took the award for 2004,is better than this crap.
It also has the very latest technology which is called...vibration!I'm talking about SE v800.(The award was for the best 3g mobile for 2004)
n90 is big, heavy and the sortware has a lot of bugs(as people say). The battery is very weak and the camera is not better than the VERY CHEAPER SE k750.
How you dare call it the best phone for 2005??
by the way i'm anticipating Kelv's N90 review... its really been a long wait, the phone is out, now where's that promising review of yours? remember to highlight the specifications where you add in the vibration specs...
honestly some of you people such as Kelv are making a big fuss and nonsense around... i own the phone and it doesnt have vibration... Kelv i hope not to see you posting up again because you're really a big laugh... singapore isnt the first in asia getting the phone anyway, so... beat it lol
Mark, Just buy another (larger) DV-RS-MMC chip, it will certainly come with an adaptor and then you can plug it into whatever you already have. This phone is hot, so is the ability to hot plug memory chips.
hey... D500 is not phone of the year 2004, its 2005 (GSM award) the 2004 belongs to T610
People, SE's K750i and Nokia's speaker outpet is all in Mono. Only when it is connected to the headset will it be in stereo.
People let us stop fightin over which is or would be the best mobile for 2005..
The Samsung D500 was the best mobile for 2004..& how many people here think that was the right choice..I do agree that the D500 is a very good mobile, but with the lack of external memory i wouldnt have given it a best of year..So it doesnt matter what you or me think which is the best & which is not..It ultimately depends on how the media feels about it...So i guess the Nokia N90 could very well be the best for 2005..But there is still time..& if the D500 could do it comin so late in 2004...maybe we might be in for a surprise this year too..But lets not speculate too much about it..
