I totally agree with JOHN.
How come we have phones that don't work as the pones must to, and yet we complain about how low is the screen resolution or how low is the megapixel camera in the phone?
My favorite phone was and always will be the
NOKIA 6310i . That is without any doubt the best cellular phone that ever been produced up to this day. The strongest batterry life
( at least 3-7 standby)
Loud and clearest earpiece sound
and strongest reception
(on top of all, 1900/900/1800 world phone!)
N90 is using Symbian 8.1 Series 60
P910 is using Symbian 7.0 UIQ Series
TO VIDEO CALLING:
Since nobody (including GSM arena)
ever talks about it, it must be of a bad quality (probably 30fr/per second is the most. Just like on reg. digital cameras).
And it costs $800?! I don't care whether it is UMTS , GPRS or B.S.
All those , megapixels, 262k screens and MP3s sound exciting (I need them so much in my wireless life). But what about the basics?
1)Non of the phones yet, is able to eliminate background noice on a noicy street (oh, sorry, I forgot the technology men only have brains for megapixels and MP3 in the cellular phone but in no way they can make a phone that works as a phone first)
2)Most of the phones (except normal sized Nokia and Sony phones) don't have a smooth , clear and lound earpeace sound
3)At least in the United States , we still don't have signal in the rooms without windows if the building has been made of a hard metal!!!! (I know it is more of the carrier job to deliver a signal into those building, but I and most of mature minded people don't care!)
SHAME ON ALL YOU TECHNOLOGY CONS! FOR not being able to deliver the basic and important feautures first, and ony then your B.S. megapixels, 262k screens, and MP3s!
Omg, u said only nokia software is written in symbian and not SE? u gotta be kiding man, just that nokia is using symbian 6-series it doesn't mean that SE is not using symbian too. SE is using symbian 7-series. Do some research first before stating any statement!
its a wonderful phone probably the best available right now in the market cuz its symbian and cant be compared to ordinary phones like k750 cuz they are not symbian. but i will go for n91 when that comes to the market cuz u dont have to buy a seperate card as it has more than sufficient memo and plus has 2mp. i think its just the perfect phone
To be honest I like it- Im not a fan of Nokia and havent been since the days of the ancient 3210 (If anyones old enough to remember them!) But I get all excited looking at this, I was a little reluctant to want it 'cos I already have a decent mp3 player (iPod) and I have a digital camera but to be honest, the luxury of having a thing this size in my pocket capable of recording short videos I can sent to other people, or quick QUALITY snapshots to others is very tempting-
I have a SE P800, which at the time was top banana! But now I feel so outdated 'cos I dont have video capture and the update just seems logical. I agree with the comment someone made about carrying a digital camera, mp3 player AND phone around is a little pointless, having this instead is like carrying a watered down version of all three in your pocket- Its not as good as an iPod OR a digital camera, but it saves room in your pocket for other things! (Unless youre carrying a bag ..But thats besides the point!) lol
if u lose your N90, u lose your mp3, camera, gameboy, phone, etc it really depend on individual :-)
THE MAIN FEATURE OF UMTS IS VIDEO CALLING.
Why nobody talks about it?
Any people from UK out here on this forum?
How many frames per secon is the video calling on UMTS network?
Serious and truthful answers only.
Тотaly agree with skater42. Where am I suppoused to put a profesional camera, a mp3 player, organizer, phone, GameBoy and so and so and so. I have to carry a whole bag for all these things. And why? When I cen simply take one N90 with me, instead.
Don't you thing so?
Jason_S - I was in the same situation as you, due an upgrade and witing for the N90 to come out in the UK. I finally gave up yesterday (as I was so desperate to get rid of my crappy 7200), and went for the Sony k750i. Seems like a very good phone, and the photos are good quality. It will take some getting used to though, as I have always had Nokias before, and am used to how they work. I guess only time will tell whether I made the right decision or not.
You're missing the point. Completely. If I want decent high-quality pictures, do you really think I would use a cell-phone? People aren't dumb you know.
If you want to carry and iPod, Camera and Phone in your pockets: Good on you. If you have a look at the Sony Cybershot DCS-7, their sensors are tiny and powerful, and that is exactly where mobile phones are heading.
It's just that in the future you will have a decent phone, camera & mp3 player in one. And for the occasional snapshot for the web ,current megapixel phones are more than suitable.
You will never catch a professional photographer with a mobile phone to take professional pictures. You will catch him though taking shots with one for all the other things like e-mail, web etc. It's just your attitude towards these things.
If you know what to do with it you'll appreciate modern technology...
It seems Nokia just want to put me off this phone. I have contacted them to get no info on it's release date in the UK. Does anyone know because I really want to upgrade my phone and I don't want too wait around forever! The price is quite worrying tho but I shud get a good deal.
Anyway if this is the best phone... I still believe in the price of a phone. The Nokia 8800 is still the most pricey... Anyway phones prices should be much more pricey because not much (lower class people) will have it...
Carl Zeiss Optics , thats why it does not have vibration
Cif resolution video recording ...352*288 ( SE K750/w800 got only Qcif .. 176*144)
3G phone, SE are only GSM
Best display 352 x 416 pixels
!!! Today's best phone
This is a super phone...and if i'll ever have the money i'll buy it.Once again Nokia is the best!
Ya this phone sold out in malaysia the price around RM 3550++.
still ok but the best phone is N91...
I liked this phone the moment it was announced. After a long long time Nokia seemed to get something right. Eventhough it doesn't have Radio doesn't affect me; as you can store lots of songs in MMC slot supplied. Even the bulkiness doesn't affect. But what really puts me off from buying this phone is that it doesn't has Vibration. Many say it doesn't matter but for people going in Meetings, students vibration mode is most important.
well its a good looking phone.
it how ever doesn't have a vibrator.
i have all the three best phones in todays market
SE K750, SE W800 and the Nokia N90
well my ratings r
1. SE W800
2. SE K750
3. Nokia N90
